The Aftermath

"ROGUE!" My tears fell on him.

"I'm sorry Yuki...I have to use it."

"SKY AND ICE DRAGON COMBINATION:
SEIKATSU SETSUYAKU! (Life Saving)"

This spell was a type of forbidden dragon magic. It would more than likely kill the caster.

"Rogue...p-p-please..WAKE UP!"

His red eyes opened, "(Y/N)"

"Rogue...did you mean all you said? Do I really mean nothing to you...do I make you happy?"

"WHAT? You mean everything and you've always made me happy."

"Good.." I collapsed.

The world was light. I was back with the dragons.

"Yuki!"

"Child, you used the spell."

"I'm so sorry! I had to...he couldn't die because of me. Death to me was better than death to him."

"You've learned well...I will return you back to their world, to the exact time."

"Thank you..."

Opening my eyes, I took a deep breathe.

"(Y/N)!"

"I'm so sorry I lost for us..."

"You didn't, no time had passed since you just fell down."

"Yuki really did mean what she said."

"Are you ok?" The black haired dragon slayer asked.

My mind could only remember him saying these things:

'I've always hated you. You meant NOTHING to me..'

"Oh but I want to hurt you!"

"Too bad I want to kill you..."

'I'm weak...This love made it hard for me to fight...'

My eyes teared up again, "Y-you wanted to kill me..."

"I meant nothing to you..."

He hugged me.

"I'm sorry...I hurt you."

"D-did you mean all of that?" I spoke through the tears.

"Of course not! I-I really like you."

I cried in his shoulder.

Gray and Natsu came running over. They saw how badly injured I was.

"(Y/N)!" They took me from Rogue.

"YOU DID THIS TO HER!"

He looked down, not wanting to look them in the eyes.

"YOU ARE GOING DOWN!"

"H-he was already d-down...Please let him be."

"LOOK AT YOURSELF. You're bleeding and have cuts everywhere."

"I'll be fine."

I smelled the air, Sting was close by.

"ERZA BEATS MINERVA! LEAVING ONLY STING LEFT FOR SABERTOOTH!"

"(Y/N), you have to stay here. You can't fight him" Mavis said to us.

"I can do it!"

"Sting is about to come down your alley way."

Gray was still holding me up.

"Can't you heal yourself?"

"About that...I used all my magic power to do that spell to save you."

"How are you supposed to fight?"

"Good question!" I laughed.

Sting came running down the alley. He saw me and stopped. His pupils went small and ran over.

"IS SHE OK?"

I nodded. Sting grabbed me from Gray.

"Who did this to you?"

"That's not important..."

"It is!"

Sting looked around, "I FORFEIT!"

"Huh? Don't do that...please!"

"No, we have to finish the games so we can help you."

"T-thank you all."

"And that ends the Grand Magic Games! Fairytail is the winner!"

The crowd cheered.

We appeared back at the battlefield, when our guild came rushing down.

Sting wouldn't let anyone touch me.

Except for Wendy.

"Wendy, don't try, I'll heal myself later." I smiled at her.

"No! I want to do this, you guys won for us. Think of it like a reward."

"Fine..."

My exceed came over, checking up on me.

"Umi! How was watching your first GMG?"

"I loved it, other than the part when Rogue destroyed you."

"Where is he?"

I tried to look around, but Wendy kept me in place.

"Umi, will you go look for him please?"

She nodded and flew around.

"So I'm guessing Rogue did this to you?" Sting asked. 

"D-don't blame him...it was the shadows."

Sting just stood there.

After a couple of minutes, Umi came back.

"I found him, he's hiding in a cave. He said he's really ashamed for hurting you so bad."

"Oh, that silly guy. Ugh, he can be stubborn!"

"That's all I can do, sorry!" Wendy said.

"It's fine, thanks for all you did."

I was able to stand, I looked at myself in the lacrima. A part of my ear was missing. It must have been sliced off by the shadows. It wasn't that bad, I could heal it later.

Everyone wanted to talk to me, but I escaped into the shadows to go find Rogue.

Umi was right, he was in a cave in the outskirts of the town.

"Hey..."

"(Y/N)! You look better..."

"Wendy healed me."

He stared at the cuts all still left on me.

"Don't blame yourself...you couldn't help the shadows who consumed you."

"If I was only stronger, I could have taken them."

"Don't act like that," I sat down beside him, laying my head on his shoulder, "You are strong, it's hard to hurt me and well-...you get the point."

He turned to me and looked at my eyes. Then he started to cry, in which I pulled him close.

"It's ok...I'm fine! Don't cry."

"We should get back to everyone! There's a ball we have to get ready for!"

He looked up at me, in which I smiled.

"Smile Rogue...."

Then, he made a big goofy smile.

I laughed and we started to walk back to our guilds.

As we arrived, the king greeted us.

"Wonderful job on the games! I can't wait to see you all at the ball!"

"Thank you..."

"Hey everyone!"

"Finally you're back (Y/N)! We need to go dress shopping!!" Lucy grabbed my arm and all the girls ran off with us. The guys followed, so they could get tuxedos.
