It was a Friday night and a storm was begining to move into our little town. There is a creepy old house at the edge of town that is owned by an old lady that has about fifty cats. One of the cats is big and black. Some of the kids in town say that that cat has a mystery power that can cause bad things to happen if you mess with the old lady.
My friends and I are getting ready to go out for the night to a party. The party is at Flex's house. It just happens to be about two lots over from Ms. Katie, which is also known as the cat lady. She use to have a husband but, nobody has seen him around town in about two years. It was said that he disappeared about the time a rumor came around about him messing around with another woman. There is also a rumor that the cat did something bad to Ms. Katie's sister when she suggested that the family put Katie in a nursing home since she was unable to properly take care of herself. The stragest thing is that people always go missing every time a storm moves into town. Having this knowledge, I will be with my family every time a storm is in this area.
When I see that cat I will be running all the way home because it scares me. If you mess with that old lady then another storm will move in and you could be the next person to disappear. I wonder if anybody else in town has noticed the same thing that I noticed about the storm, missing people and what happens if the old lady is mistreated. Someone might even say that the angels are watching out for this lady.
To help find out the truth of this mystery of the cat and its owner I must do some research and find out who she is, how long she has lived here and anything else that can help me solve this mystery.
