Alyssa (Aly) is often dubbed as the "wild one." She's a very confident 17-year-old and is brutally honest. It's known that she has no filter and speaks before she thinks, which, more times than not, have gotten her into serious trouble that her other friends have assisted her in getting out of on multiple occasions.
Alyssa is, without a doubt, a sight for sore eyes. The long mane of brown hair she inherited from her Italian mother, bright blue eyes she got from her Russian father, along with the facial features that show a mixture of her parents all add up to her undeniable beauty. Her charm has gotten her far when it comes to the dating scene, although, it all comes back to the one boy she has named as her nemesis but has been secretly crushing on him since they met when they were at the young age of 10.
She's a track star, an older sister to a pair of twins, a helpful and dependable daughter, an insanely loyal friend, and the arch nemesis to her crush, arguably the hottest guy ever. This has got to be interesting.
Kaila Lacey Anderson is an African-American beauty. Guyanese on her mother's side and Jamaican on her father's side, it's almost guaranteed the amount of beauty she can hold. She's a natural born leader, evident by how she leads and cares for her friends who are a year or two younger than her. She's a dedicated varsity volleyball player to her school and a constant support system for her friends and family.
Kaila is unique. She likes to do her own thing and not worry about what others will start to think about her in the process. She learned at a young age that everyone will always have an opinion about you, and there's nothing you can do about. This was her philosophy, her life motto, her way of life, that is, until she hit puberty and battled every teenager's enemy... hormones. Kaila broke her promise to herself when she started getting involved with her best friend's brother, Troy. She never pushed more than a few make out sessions here and there because of her friendship with his sister. She didn't want her to feel betrayed or torn if anything were to happen during or after their relationship.
Let's just say, there's no smooth path on the road of life.
Angel Hernandez is the girl that everyone wants to be. Everything from her curly brown and beautiful hazel eyes, to her light caramel skin and body to kill for, courtesy of her Caribbean and Spanish lineage, had envy filled in girls' eyes and lust in guys'. All in all, she was absolutely gorgeous. But don't get it twisted, she did not rise to popularity from her looks. Her status as co-captain of her school's varsity cheerleading squad and her position as secretary in student government helped people to fall helplessly in love with her bubbly and sweet personality.
Although, one of those people, by the name of Alex Hartley, fell a little too hard.
Angel may not be your stereotypical cheerleader who likes to step on the underclassmen and talk about her weekly sexual conquest, but she also isn't your innocent and naive girl who's never experienced love. She's in the middle. Although she's still a virgin, she has had many experience in the chapter of life called dating. She's been on countless dates, but only had a few serious boyfriends. Of course, as cliche as it is, there was that one guy that shattered her heart and left broken in pieces, mentally restraining her from giving that one guy a chance, despite her knowing that he's one of the good ones.
Finding someone is the easy part, keeping them is what others have trouble with.
Rachel "Ah-yeon" Kim is the epitome of asian beauty. Long brown hair, cascading down her back in waves, along with big, beautiful brown eyes that always has that sparkle and could give any guy a heart attack, if she'd actually pay attention. For every strength, there is a flaw, and Rachel's major flaw is her self-esteem and self-confidence. You'd think being a 16-year-old senior, you'd have such high confidence that it'd make the Burj Khalifa look like a spec of dust.
But, for Rachel, that's simply not the case.
Rachel was constantly picked on in elementary school for being the youngest in her grade, and eventually being classified as a nerd. That's when Alyssa, Kaila, and Angel came in. They turned her life around. Her frown became a smile, cloudy days replaced with sunny skies, and tears of sadness were exchanged for tears of laughter. Her friends became her light, the high of her day and her support system for when her mom left America to return home to South Korea in order to assist in helping her sick mother and family.
She enjoyed her high school life as much as she could, blending into the crowd as much as having very popular and well-admired best friends can get you. She always felt that she hasn't done anything extraordinary for her school, never joined any teams, participated in any events, or made an effort in getting to know her classmates. This all leads up to the decision she makes to change her high school life for the better. Plus... it'll look great on college applications.
Of course, there's always that one guy that screws everything up, and Logan Tellers is no exception.
