Lin had started getting used to his new home. He was taking a walk around the village when a ball rolled up to his feet. A girl with a large afro covered in freckles ran up to him. She picked up the ball and looked at him. "Hey! I'm Dorca! Don't think I seen you 'round here before, what's ya name?"
"I'm Lin." he responded not too excitedly. "Cool! Wanna play ball with me an' my friends?" she said back. "No." he declined. She frowned. "Oh.. Ok! See ya!" She ran back to her friends with her ball. Chief Hassan had given him a place to stay. He decided to go there to find a way to leave this place and go back to England as soon as possible. There was nothing better to do, anyway. Once he was at his "house", he sat down on his bed and opened his map. He put on his glasses and started studying.
