Lumina
It had been a week since the incident. I could feel the darkness and memories surrounding me as I tried to fight them away.
FLASHBACK (one week before)
Leon and I ran across the field. We where laughing as he chased me. Like always I had tripped in the process and he layed on top of me. we stayed in the position for some time when he moved his head closer pressing his soft lips onto mine. In the distance we heard a scream followed by even more, coming from the packs village. Leon whipped his head up and I turned mine to look the other way. Smoke. That's all we saw. We both quickly stood up and ran as fast as our human forms would go. I didn't even make it to the village all the way. I could see it from where I was and it was in flames. I saw our pack running all ways with other wolves chasing them. once by one they began to fall. Leon grabbed my hand and began pulling me back the way we came. We ran, and ran, past the packs borders and just kept on running.
Present time
I came back to Leon shaking me with tears in his eyes. ever since the fire he has one focused on my feelings and worried even more. once my eyes opened his filled with relief, "Lumi, are you ok? was it the flashback again?" there was worry in his voice. I nodded and put my hand to his cheek, "Leon, im alright now that your back. what about you though? I cant stand to feel anymore pain." He looked away, "I'm sorry Lumi. I know this is hard on you and I just want you to get over this. I will worry about myself after you." I stood up hugging him instantly. "Leon. your pain is to overwhelming for you. I can feel it. We both know that if anyone else is alive they fled just like us. We will find those who survived when we do. But until then we should stay here. Its safe." He slightly grinned, "your so much like the alpha." He looked me in the eye and gently kissed my lips making me sink into heaven.
