The Chosen One

Another 'Boring' Schoolday

I woke up alone this morning. It was Monday, three days after I found out I was the chosen one. Anna, Jasmin, Dylan and my dad kept me busy all the time to prevent that I would be thinking about the whole angel/demon thing. I stepped out of bed. I grabbed a skater skirt and a see through blouse. I put on a basic top and the rest of my chosen outfit. I did my makeup and did my hair in a bun. I ran downstairs and ate some toast.

"Bye dad!" I yelled to upstairs where he was preparing for his day.

"Be careful!!" he yelled back. I grabbed some open heels and put them on. I saw that Anna just drove off, because I was late.

"Shit.." I mumbled to myself. I walked back inside to ask my dad if he could bring me, but my eye fell on a white feather. I picked it up and it gave off a weird vibe. It was an angels. I walked into the house and drew a door, this time less ugly than the first. I stepped through and came out in the storage room. I stepped out, put the feather in my bag and walked to my locker. I opened it and grabbed the books I needed. When I closed my locker, I saw that Michael stood next to me.

"Hi beautiful." Michael said and he put my hair behind my ear. I pushed his arm away, but he didn't leave me alone. He pushed me against the lockers and said,

"So.. What will we do with you?"

"I thought that angels were supposed to be nice?" I said angry.

"We are, but you are a little different. We'll need to sacrifice you in order to get back to heaven."

"God would never let you back if he'd seen what you became. You should be rotting in hell!" I said through my teeth.

"Be nice, miss chosen one." he whispered into my ear and he bend in to kiss me.

"Get away." I said soft, but he didn't leave me alone. I tuned my head away and shouted,

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" I yelled and suddenly Michael was laying on the ground, covering his ears with his hands.

"Stop it!! Please!! Make it stop!!" he said. Gabriella, Anna and Jasmin came running in.

"What did I do?" I said panicking.

"I don't know." Anna said confused.

"Let's get out of here." Jasmin said and she pulled me to the history classroom.

"What the hell just happened?" Jasmin asked me.

"He was threatening me, so I told him to get away, but he didn't listen. So I shouted and then he just fell to the ground and told me to stop it." I said.

"That's so weird. The prophecy never mentioned special powers." Anna said thinking out loud.

"What prophecy?" I asked.

"We'll go to the library in the break." Jasmin said.

"There's a book about me?" I said surprised.

"Yes, it's called the little mermaid." Anna joked.

"Never heard of the bible?" Jasmin said in a 'duh' tone.

"Oh.." I said ashamed. I was baptized when I was a baby, but didn't really go to church, only on Christmas and Easter.

"Hey babe." I heard a male voice say. And it was definitely not Dylan. I turned around and saw Matt. Jasmin walked up to him and kissed him.

"What did I miss?" I whispered to Anna.

"I didn't know either." She whispered back. Matt broke their kiss and bowed down.

"What the hell..." I whispered again.
