Chapter 2- "And he has the cutest smile"

The next day, Daniela, Cecy and I were getting ready to go the boys’ sound check. Our outfits were simple but still cute. I couldn’t stop thinking about Zayn; his eyes meeting mine, his beautiful smile and how he laughed. It was like finally something good in my life happens. I wasn’t the most popular girl on school, but I got my good friends on my side and that is all that mattered. We were now out the door and starting to drive. Off the road, the windows were rolled down and the radio was blasting through the speakers.

“I’m gonna stay up all night and jump around until we see the sun!”We were now singing with the top of our lungs.

“I never thought this day would actually come, us normal teenagers hanging out with the boy band we love. It is just amazing!” Daniela says in the back seat.

“I know, like, all of our dreams coming true, well the only part missing is when Harry asks me to be his girlfriend and we grow old and have beautiful babies.”My sister said.

"Mariely, Zayn is all over you , I can tell." Daniela says. "And he  has the cutest smile". My sister tells in the end.

We laughed at the comment and we were getting near the venue. I parked the car on the parking lot and started walking to the entrance. There were a lot of girls already making line. We didn’t know what to do, so we just stayed there until the three of us started to hear screams of the girls. We turned around just to see how the boys were outside the venue with 2 security guards. Zayn’s hazel eyes quickly spotted mine and his smile immediately light up the whole town. The boys were now walking towards us. All the girls with had their jaws dropped, wishing they were us in that exact moment.

“You ok, babe?” Zayn leans in to give me a tight hug.

“Yeah, we are fine” I replied.

“Well we have to leave soon before all the fans come up closer.” Liam says.

We nodded and I felt how Zayn’s hand went up to my waist

“I will protect you.” His deep voice whispering to my ear was giving chills.

My cheeks blushed lightly as he says these words to me. I turned my head to give him a slight smile. Cecy was now with Harry and Daniela was with Liam. I was smiling to myself and I thought to myself I will never forget moment, ever. The boys took us to a room were there where snacks, a red couch and a T.V. Niall quickly went to the snack bar. Daniela, Cecy and I sit down on the couch, which was really comfortable.

“Girls, do you want something to drink?”Paul asks us.

“No thanks, we are good.” The three of us said in unison.

“So, are you excited for tonight?” I asked Zayn.

“Well of course, it is like our biggest gig ever. You are now starting to get me nervous.” He replies.

“Oh, don’t be. You are really good on what you do, so you will never mess up.” I say.

Zayn bites his lips and I can tell he needs to tell me something. He grabs my hand and takes me away from the people.

“It is not the concert; you are getting nervous just looking at your beautiful eyes.”

Zayn finally says. Before I could say anything the sound manager tells the boys

“Sound check is ready, you need to go on stage.”  Zayn gives me one last look and walks away. I felt my heart beat even harder and faster than normal.

Did he really meant what he said?
