Adjustment

I wake up at the sound of my alarm "ugh" I grunt . I jump off my bed "Why can't I just be normal " . After having the longest bath , I look through my ward robe looking for what to wear but my mind is scrambled, I can't find anything to wear! "Ugh nothing to wear " I grunt fustratedly dropping my self on my bed, soon enough I spot  my favorite blue hoodie i have been looking for. wearing it I pair it with blue jeans and brown wedges, then I head down for breakfast.

"Good morning " I said skipping down stairs . "Morning" my mom said flipping pancakes.  "Mhmm pancakes " I said clapping . She chuckles serving me some. After breakfast, I get up hugging my mom then heading to school, Today am to walk to school cause Erica has volleyball practice. As i start walking it begins to rain, soon i begin playing completely forgetting about school, I gasped in shock "oh God am gonna be late" i said still with my mouth open , immediately i start running getting stares from people as i pass i wanted to shout real bad saying "hey you never seen a child late for school before"  but i was too worried about being late to do that. Immediately I enter the gates the bell for first period rings, I start running to class through the tough crowd of students trying to get to class to avoid detention just like me. Making it on time I sit down on my sit panting next to Erica who is giving me a strange look, just then our teacher Mr Alex enters the class"okay class settle down" he yells. Class passes by slower than i expected or is it just me, now its lunch and am at the door searching for Erica  who is waving at me, making my way to Erica i squeeze my through the big crowd until I get to her " hey ri" " hey baby girl what's up" she replies enthusiatically"am good" i said unwrapping my lunch, Ri and i talk for the rest of lunch. Bidding her good bye i make my way to my locker "i should style up my locker soon" I thought to myself self when a feminine voice interrupts my thoughts "the desperate attention seeking bitch is here" I thought with a smirk"yo bitch where is the assignment for yesterday i need it" she says looking at her nails, I decide to make her work for it a bit so  begin to give shitty answers "i don't know" I said shrugging my shoulders, whispering into her minions ears, one of them took my bag and began to look for the homework, her other minion held me down as Mindy began to hit me everyone looked in my direction  but no one said a word when she was done she ripped the page of assignment she needed and threw the book at me then she began walking away so did everyone else and soon I was the only one left. I stayed laying on the floor until i was able to stand. Making my way to the nurse to get my self treated, as soon as I enter the nurse comes rushing to my side to help me stabilize myself "what happened" she asked worriedly "i umm got into a fight outside of school yesterday and i got hurt my wounds got opened today while in gym class so they began bleeding" she gave me an unconvinced look but said nothing more and i was thankful for that, after cleaning me up and giving me some painkillers she gave me a note to go home. So i left school while walking i began to think about how my mom would react to my wounds, unlocking the door i walk into see my mom unconscious on the floor"Mom mom mom" I scream running to her side,I call 911 and a lady picks up " hello 911 emergency number how can i help you " she says "my mom is unconscious" i say terrified" what exactly happened" she questioned " i don't know i just found her like this"  i replied"address please" she says and over the phone I hear her getting a pen and paper "No 13 ,saint Williams Street near KFC, California." I say almost bursting to tears . I hear scribbling and she says "We'll be there soon " she says and hangs up "Mom mom" I said tryng to get her to wake up, soon i hear the siren of the ambulance. I get in the ambulance and in ten minutes we reached the hospital ."Mom mom what happened to you can you hear me I don't understand what you were trying to say mom" I scream as my mom is being wheeled in "Mom you are going to be fine alright " I say convincing my self instead of her

AN HOUR LATER

Soon a doctor comes to me "excuse me ma'am she's alright it's just some signs of stress just take care of her and make sure she eats and rests" he said "thank you" i said shaking he's hand as he walked away "oh thank God"
