Chapter 3

Amanda's POV

Present Time - XFactor Audition

"Amanda Espinoza!" A women called my name. I looked at Niall nervously. He just simply smiled at me and gave me thumbs from two people away. I looked at the women and followed her.

Someone handed me a microphone and pushed me on stage. There Simon Cowell was sitting with the other two judges.

"What's your name?" He asked. I held out my mic up to my mouth.

"Amanda Espinoza." I answered confidently.

"Love the confidence!" He smiled at my all of a sudden confidence. "What song will you sing?" He asked.

"Marry You by Bruno Mars." I said remembering my favorite song. He nodded. The music started playing.

It's a beautiful night,

We're looking for something dumb to do.

I stopped when Simons hand directed me to.

"That was amazing, but if don't feel like your voice is strong enough. There's no doubt you have an amazing voice, but your just too young." He smiled. I nodded.

"I agree with Simon." The other two judges said. I nodded. "Maybe come back next year." Simon said with a smile. I nodded once again. I got off the stage and got enveloped into a hug by my parents. I noticed Niall had his head down. He was next.

-5 months later-

I turned off the tv and went to me bedroom. It's been 4 months since the XFactor and Niall has became famous already. He's been put in a band I think named One Direction. While he's living the dream, I'm sitting on me bum on me stalking him. (A/N: Irish people talk like this)

He's forgotten about me. He's left me behind not looking back. I've tried contacting him, but nothing.

My phone started ringing.

"Hello?" I asked after sliding my finger across the screen.

"Honey, did you forget today is your flight?" My mums sweet soft voice asked.

"No mum, I'm grabbing my luggage right now, Eleanor is taking me to the airport in a few." I said sighing at the end.

I'm flying back home today, today I'm going back to the UK. Eleanor owns the apartment I'm staying in, she's is as well. She came to live here with me when my parents moved out of Ireland, and now we are moving back. Eleanor is gonna take time coming back to the UK. She still has to pack everything she brought and tell the people she's moving out.

"Are you ready babe?" Eleanor asked walking in my room. I nodded and hung up my phone. I grabbed my backpack and two suitcases and walked towards the door. Eleanor taking one on the way.

-At the airport-

"Well, I'll see you later." Eleanor said smiling. I smiled back.

"I guess so." I said. "You are literally the best cousin ever!!" I yelled/whispered. She laughed.

"You too, but I thing that's because I'm your only cousin." She said still laughing.

"Oh shut up." I said sweating my hand on her arm while laughing. Our laughter died down.

"See you in 2-3 days. Call me during the flight and tell me when you'll get here so I can pick you up." I said hugging her. I could feel her nod in the crook of my neck.

"When we go back to the UK and we are both there, we are gonna celebrate your 17th birthday. I know it's been about 23-24 days since your birthday, but this time our family will be there." She said pulling back and smiling. I just simply sighed.

"Ok fine, but can we stop talking I'm tired and it's 1 am?" I asked. She nodded and sat down, I followed along. Right when I sat down my plane was called.

I said good bye to Eleanor as I walked towards my plane.

-1 hour later-

"No please, don't!" I yelled.

It hurts when you can only scream and yell. It hurts watching all of this happen, it hurts no being able to do nothing about it but scream and yell. It hurts to see how your life is slowly fading away.

"Miss, Miss!" I hear. I open my eyes to see a women with a blue and white outfit shaking me. I must have fell asleep.

"We are here." She said. I nodded and said thank you. I got up and gathered my stuff. I walked out of the plane and got my luggage. I could see my mom sitting in the chairs. She looked at me and her face lit up. She stood up and ran towards me, it's been 5 months don't judge, she embraced me. She still smells the same. I laughed to myself.

"So when is Eleanor coming?" She asked after pulling back.

"Oh so your worried about her and not me, Thanks mum." I said playing with her. She looked at me like I'm crazy.

"In 3-4 days, I'm going to pick her up." I said sighing. "Can we go home I'm tired it's 2 am, right?" I asked yawning.
