Chapter 1

In our world everyone has a soulmate. We know who our soulmates are because everyone has a little symbol on their wrist. Each unique. Only one other person has that exact tattoo. You're soulmate. It's hard to find your soulmate, some people die before they meet your soulmate. But most people are determined to find them. All they have to do is match their tattoo and then they are yours to keep.

Winter's POV
I wake up, my alarm ringing in my ear. I sit up and turn it off. After a few seconds swing my legs off my bed so they touch the floor and then walk towards my window. Snow. I smile. Winter is my favourite season. I was given the name Winter because I was born on the coldest day of the year. I walk to my closet and pick out the first outfit I could find. It also happened to be Jake Paul merch.

I picked up my phone to see I had a text from my little sister, Malaysia.

I put my phone and my bed and grab my MacBook. I search them up and find the video. As a watch I look at them. I find them both attractive but one stands out for me. I think he's called Emilio. At the end they show their tattoos. One a flower. One a snowflake. I pause it and look at my wrist. "Mama! Mama!" My mother rushes in. "Que es todo el ruido?" She asks.(what's all the noise?"). "Mira,mira!" (Look, look), I gesture for her to come over. She walks over and I point at the screen. "
Mira su tatuaje y luego mira el mío. ¡es lo mismo! Él es mi alma gemela mamá!" She smiles. (Look at his tattoo and then look at mine. It's the same! He is my soulmate mama!).
"¿Quién es él?" (Who is he?)
"Emilio Martinez."
She nods.
"I'm so happy for you dear." She finally says in English. She then walks out the room. Probably gone to work. I then pick up my camera to film. I decide to ask my fans about it. After I film, I edited it and then uploaded to YouTube. After a while I get lots of people commenting and tweeting me about it. Most of the tweets have pictures of Emilio's tattoo and then mine beside it.
Emilio's POV (you're welcome).
I wake up to my brother shouting at me. "What!" I shout.
"Get up!" Then he sits down on my bed. He has a MacBook in his hand. He points at a tweet and then says,"Read it." I rub my eyes and look at the tweet. It had a picture of my tattoo and then a picture of a girl and her tattoo. I look at it and see that it's the same. Does this mean that she's my soulmate? I get up and look at my brother. " Is this real?" He nods. "She filmed a video yesterday asking about it." I frown. Why did she want to know so bad?
"What is her name?" I ask.
"Winter."
"Such a strange name." I whisper.
"I know. Maybe that's why your tattoos a snowflake." I nod. It all kinda makes sense now.
I pick up that laptop and search in her name. A bunch of videos come up but I click on the first one. The one about her tattoo. My tattoo. She talks about her sister, I think her name is Malaysia, and how if her sister hadn't been a fan of me and my brother than this wouldn't have been brought to her attention. As she talks, I fall in love slowly. She then shows her tattoo. The snowflake on her skin. Beautiful. She then asks everyone to confirm if that I am actually her soulmate. Once the video finishes I go it the comments and look at all the positive comments she has got. I decided to leave one to let her know that I am aware of the whole soulmate thing. I put:
I actually cannot believe that you are my soulmate! I am so lucky. I hope to meet you soon. Btw you have no need to be insecure about me not liking you. You seem really kind.

After about 10 minutes I get a reply:
I am actually shocked that it's true. Add me on Snapchat and we can talk about the situation. Btw you see really kind too. I can't wait to meet you!

Winter's POV
After I send reply back to Emilio I add him on Snapchat. He adds me back about a minute later. He texts me:

Well let's start by tell me about you-W
Ok... My name is Emilio Martinez. I am 18 and my birthday is May 10th. I was born in Catalonia and I moved to L.A to be part of Team 10.-E
My name is Winter Hays. I am 18 and I was born December 2nd. I was born in Barcelona and I moved to Ohio when my mama was offered a job there.-W
Okay... Send me a picture of you. I want to see your face.-E

I put my phone down and walk out to see my sister. As soon as I see her I hug her really tight. "Muchas gracias. Te amo!" I shout (thank you so much. I love you.)
"Es su alma gemela?" (Is he your soulmate?)
"Sí,hablé con él en Snapchat" (yes I spoke to him on Snapchat).
"Estoy tan feliz por ti," she smiles and hugs me. (I'm so happy for you). "Tengo que irme, adiós" (I need to go bye). I look at my phone to see a text from Emilio.
Jake says you can come-E
Yay!! When??-W
Tomorrow night??-E
Jake will pay to fly you over-E
Ok! I'll tell my mama!-W
I'm so excited to meet you!-E
I am too!!!!-W
Tomorrow I will meet Emilio! I've never been this excited.
