Chapter 7: dancing shoes and "i love you"

I stand in Graysons bathroom finishing curling my hair. I had a full face of makeup on and I felt pretty confident in my dress. I sip on my sequins heels too add a little bling. I step out of the bathroom putting on my earrings. Grayson was buttoning up his dress shirt. He turns his head to look at me. "Holy fuck babe. You're smokin" he says looking at me. I giggle. He puts on his navy jacket to match his navy pants. "You don't look too bad yourself" I reply. "E!! I NEED YOU TAKE A PICTURE OF ME AND LEXI!!!" Grayson yells. Soon after , we hear footsteps coming towards his room. Ethan was wearing a black suit. He looked good too. "AWH well aren't you two just adorable" he says. He grabs his camera. Grayson turns my body towards him and kisses my lips while grabbing my bum. Ethan takes a bunch of photos and then leaves the room with me and Grayson following close behind. We get in the car with Ethan and Grayson with their parents in the car in front of us. We pull up to the large building where the reception was being held. Gray grabs my hand and we walk inside. The hall was full. We sit at a round table. The couple has their first dance. And Grayson's introduces me to a few of his family members. A slower song comes on and Grayson reaches his hand out to me. "May I have this dance m'lady?" I laugh at him. He was such a douche. I grabbed his hand and he pulled me onto the dance floor. Grayson put his right hand on my waist and I put my left hand on his shoulder. We danced to the song. Grayson was looking into my eyes like I was the only girl in the room. "I think I'm in love with you" he says his voice soft. My heart dropped. I gently kiss his lips. "I know for a fact that I'm in love with you". We both let a smile spread across our faces and continued to dance.

The reception didn't end until about 1:30am. My stomach hurt from laughing so hard and I'm not gonna lie-We all had a few too many cocktails. We called an uber and me, Gray, and Ethan stumble in while they're parents stayed behind for a bit at the hall to help clean up a bit. "Do you guys think birds have feelings?" Ethan asks looking like he was about to cry. The drunk fucker had no idea what was going on. Our uber driver got us out of the vehicle as soon as possible. I don't think he liked us. Grayson's puts his arm around me and we walk into their house. I didn't even have time to undress I fell on Graysons bed and went to sleep.
