My Love for Crime Shows and How It Made Me an Expert
Crime shows are absolutely my favorite and I am ridiculously obsessed with them. Hold on to prove it I'm going to name a couple of them:
Law & Order: Special Victim Unit
Homeland
NCIS: New Orleans
NCIS
Chicago Fire
Chicago P.D.
Hawaii 5-O
NCIS: Los Angeles
Quantico
Chicago Justice
CSI: Miami
CSI: New York
CSI
Bones
CSI: Cyber
Frequency
The Mentalist
Nikita
I think that's about it. A LOT I know. I highly recommend them. Back to the subject at hand, watching these shows can sometimes be brutal as hell and sometimes it's just cringe worthy (the crimes not the episodes) but the thing about watching them is that how they get justice; sometimes with as much evidence as the stupid one's leave but the real trick here is the smart ones. Those leave absolutely NO evidence whatsoever, it is annoying but at the same time keeps things interesting and keeps the episode going and you guessing what's right and what is wrong.
The complicated words will start to make sense, for example: remand, sustained, overruled and stuff like that. To American or Canadian or British people might understand these words but to other people those words might sound complicated. I didn't know what half those words meant when I first started watching them. The laws you begin to understand what they mean and how to enforce them.
Now this is funny but I sometimes keep shouting at the TV on who to charge with what and what questions to be asked. I am a freaking expert in law right now (insert the cool looking glasses). But on a serious note, that does not mean I have any right to act like a police officer or an attorney (lawyer) whether it's the DA (District Attorney: which are lawyers who prosecute the bad guys) or the Defense Attorney (People who defend the people who are prosecuted) complicated I know.
I hope you enjoy watching these shows and if you do, comment down below what you think of them.
