"She wanted to ask him why they were all strangers who shared the same last name."

-Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

Jan and Mick Lowry have been happily married for nearly thirty years. They have two clean cut kids, a cozy home in the suburbs, and the best garden on Wicker Street. Their life is perfect.

Or so Mick thought.

Because unbeknownst to him, his wife is growing increasingly weary of their monotonous relationship. One average, sunny afternoon, three days before their anniversary to be exact, Jan makes a casual suggestion. One that will change their lives in ways neither could've anticipated.

This is the first story I'm publishing on this account so I'm nervous about it but I really like the idea. I hope someone reads this. But probably not so I'm basically just talking to myself right now. Nothing out of the ordinary.
