Chapter 9: Ocean Institute

_YOONHAE'S POV_

I woke up especially early to get ready for the field trip today. I packed my clothes and bathroom essentials. My phone dinged.

It was Suga.

Yoongi: Hey do you need a ride to school?

Yoonhae: wow you're up early, surprisingly

Yoongi: aishh answer the question >:{

Yoonhae: ok- yea I would love a ride to school :P

Yoongi: ok just walk over to my place when you're ready

Yoonhae: mmk!

I turned off my phone and finished packing. I got myself ready and made myself some breakfast then headed over to Suga's.

I doorbelled and he opened the door. He looked tired and was not prepared. I sighed and shook my head.

"You text me and you're not even ready?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Yea yea I'm going," he yawned and smiled.

I set my luggage near the door and started to make breakfast for Suga. I mean come on, he needs energy- actually what am I saying he's lazy either way.

I finished right on time when Suga was hopping downstairs. He sniffed the air and turned his head toward the kitchen.

"Kyaa! Thank you, Yoonhae, for making me breakfast," he cheered in his a aegyo voice and waddled to me while doing a weird face. I burst out in laughter as Yoongi laughed quietly.

He quickly ate his food and then we headed out the door to his car. We set our luggage in the trunk of his car and headed to school.

We got on the bus and everyone heaped with excitement. Everyone was sitting next to their tent partners. I sat by the window with Yoongi.

'We argued for an hour for who would get the window seat, I won >:D'

The bus started to drive and I looked out the window. The sky was blue and there were no clouds in sight.

I turned to Suga and saw he had earphones plugged in. Out of curiosity I tapped on his shoulder, he took out one of his earphones and looked at me.

"Yah?" He asked as I scratched the back of my neck.

"What ya listen to?" He handed me one of the earphone piece and I plugged it in.

"It's an old song but it's called 'Just One Day'," he told to me as the song began.

It started off with Yoongi's rap verse and I listened closely, closing my eyes and having a stupid squishy smile on my face.

Then the chorus began and I bobbed my head to the beat of the chorus and hummed along.

I quickly caught onto the chorus lyrics and started to sing along.

"Neowa haruman itgireul barae barae! Neowa danduri bonaeneun party party!"

I sang along in a weird, over exaggerating voice as Suga put on his gummy smile and laughed.

We arrived at the ocean institute and ever stretched out their legs once we were off the bus. We got our luggage and met where the chaperones awaited.
