Dead.

He had killed him.
Lucifer had killed him. In front of your eyes.
You would never forget that scene. Never.
The pain in Gabriel's eyes. His brother's betrayal.
You never expected Lucifer to do something like that. Kill his brother. No never.
You had known him since you were a little fledgling. Yes he would always brake the rules and refuse to do as told when it came to humans. But never, never would you think that he was capable of doing something like that. Kill his brother.
No. Never.
Gabriel would always be a little trickster which caused fights between him and his brothers but they always loved each other. And they all loved Gabriel.
Or that's at least what you thought til now.
Lucifer had killed him. Gabriel was dead and there was no coming back.
He was gone. Forever.
And you could do nothing to bring him back.
Cause along with him your sould had died too.
Gabriel was your everything.
And now there was no reason for you to live anymore...

"They are going to find you here" came a gruff voice from your left and you didn't need to turn to look. You knew very well who it belonged to.
You didn't respond just kept looking sunset. The beautiful colors of the sun mesmerizing you.
Just like you did when you were younger.
Your white knee length dress floating with the air. Gabriel had bought it for you and you would always wear it when you two went to look the sunset.
No matter how many years would pass, no matter the fact that he had left you two would meet and look at the sunset. Thought he didn't dare say anything to anyone, chick flick moments he called them. Just like Dean.
Footesteps were heard and soon he approached you.
"We better get going" he said again and you stayed silent once again.
"(Y/n)..." he said and put a hand onn your shoulder.
"He's gone, Castiel..." you whishpered and a tear rolled down your cheek.
You turned to look at Castiel as he kept looking you with those beautiful blue eyes.
"I know..." he said pulling his hand back to his side and looking down.
You returned to watching the sunset once again.
Silence followed.
"We should better get going, the demons are going to find you here and you are not safe" he said again, breaking the silence.
"Hm... safe... who cares..." you mumbled as more tears started running down your cheeks.
"I do!" he spoke firmly and you turned to look at him frowning.
"(Y/n) I do know that Gabriel's death brings you sorrow and grief since I know how..." he gulped "Hoe close you two were yet... (Y/n) I do care about you... I don't certainly know if it is the way Gabriel did but I know I do..." he looked up at you.
He got closer and cupped your face "And I don't know if it is that feeling that humans talk about-" you cut him off.
"Love" you whishpered.
"Love yes" he pursed his lips in a line "But... I know I care about you (y/n) and I care if you are safe..." he said and... hugged you?
"Cas are you..." you trailed off and wrapped you arms around him.
You closed your eyes relaxing and his grip tightened.
"Thank you Cas" you mumbled.
And your tears stopped.
You might have lost you soul but you still had your grace...
