-rei POV-

We were training again for the next swimming competition. Coach was making us swim in turns. Haru was up, his swimming is just so beautiful, like him. I know he probably just sees me as a possible friend and nothing else but I like him more than a possible friend. Haru likes rin and that's fucking obvious, but Haru's swimming is amazing! It's so elegant, I did prefer his old one, a bit more slower but waaaaayyy more elegant but his new ones fast and that's what we need for the competition. Najisa stared at me. He leaned over and whispers:
"You like Haru right?" He asked
Wait was it that obvious? Was I staring? With my calculations I was not staring long enough for people to get suspicious. Hmmm?!??
"Yes. Is it that obvious?" I asked.
"I meant as a friend I never knew you are into dudes, dude!" Najisa said.
Well shit, I just screwed up. Najisa meant did I like Haru as a friend, yes but I also like him as more. He only sees me as a possible friend nothing big.
"Rei...REI YOUR UP!" Coach yelled.
I barely heard him, I stood up and walked over. Okay butterfly be the butterfly. I dived in, elegant now to make this beauti---- shit my googles i stood up to fix them when I realised I can't stand up in this pool, I started panicking and went under. All there was nithing, cause I closed my eyes. I heard people shouting my name. I heard a crash of water soon I felt hands underneath me. I lay there....black

~harus POV~

Rei dived in, so elegant then he started his butterfly! Amazing, wait his goggles shit. He went under. He didn't come back up for a bit. Everyone shouted his name apart from me. I jumped in and swam to get him. I pulled him out and put him on the side, still breathing, lightly though. I opened his mouth and held his nose, I placed my lips on his and blew, he woke up, he flinched but he kissed me. I blushed.
"Omfg I am so sorry haru!!! I---" Rei started.
"It's okay, are you okay?" I asked.
"Yes. Thank you" Rei said, his eyes had fear in them.
I have him his jacket.
"We need to talk, come" I said.
"Okay,"Rei replied
We walked out the pool area and to the tree.
"I know you like me Rei" I said
"What? No-maybe- yes..."Rei said
"Well I like you too, but I am dating rin so it won't work, I'm sorry," I explained.
Rei's eyes filled up with tears. I hugged him, I'm sorry rei. I kissed him, he didn't kiss back, he stood there.
"We'll go to your boyfriend then don't kiss me, don't" Rei said.
"Look rei..."I started.
"I don't want to hear it, I'm going home!" Rei said.
Rei started running away. I wanted to chase him but there is no point. I sighed and went back to the others.
"What happened?" Gou asked.
"Nothing..."I said.
"Rei loved Haru but Haru is dating rin so it wouldn't work out" Najisa said.
"Wait were you listening in?!?" I asked.
"No Rei kinda used logic before anything else and he told me." Najisa said.
Okay then, well I am a jerk!
"Wow low Haru just low." Makto said.
"Look I said sorry---" I started.
"Sorry ain't gonna cut it!!" Coach said.
"Well then I quit!" I said, "I will go going rin's swim team!"
"What? No!" Gou said.
"Yes now bye!" I said as I walked out.
I like rei but as a friend. Jeez.
