I was really shaken,

after hearing,

all about Lucas and Mark's,

accident,

the first person,

I could think to text,

was Frankie.

She's pretty cool,

she's caring in a way,

she acts tough,

but she's knows,

how to cheer someone up.

So now here we are,

at a ice cream joint,

not so far from our houses.

"so I heard your brother's birthday,

was just a few days ago,

so I got him something,

you can say its from me,

or you I don't care,

just as long as he gets it."

Frankie:

"thanks,

I'll tell him its from you."

I looked down at the gift,

it was a Tonka Truck,

when my parents were alive,

and we had TV,

the commercials of the truck,

would pop up and my brother begged,

over and over for the stupid thing.

I wondered how could he know,

how could this person know,

my brothers deepest wish,

and I couldn't remember,

his annoying screaming and crying,

over the piece of plastic.

Johnny:

"I used to want one,

if you're wondering,

I was about his age,

and I wanted one so bad,

my mom brought one home,

but I was about 14,

and that was so many years ago,

so its been sitting under my bed,

so thought he'd like it."

Frankie:

"trust me,

he'll love it,

he doesn't tell me,

much anymore,

but I know he still wants it.

I'll tell you his reaction tomorrow,

anyways.

Um,about Lucas and Mark,

do you think,

Mark is going to be able to come to school,

or is he going to be gone for a few weeks?"

Johnny:

"well since Mark's parents,

are out of town,

Mark is going to be staying at Lucas',

so Lucas' mom can take care of him.

Mark is going to be fine,

Lucas saved him,

so there is nothing to worry about."

My hand touched Frankie's,

and I was going to move it away,

but her other hand grabbed mine,

and she gave me a look of appreciation,

I felt something for Frankie,

but I was sure,

she saw me only as a friend..
