2- Neighbors

Yn's Pov ,

I woke up to a whole bunch of loud moving trucks coming from next door . I got up to see who was moving in && I seen a lightskin girl with long brown braids , who looked just like Kodie Shane with some lady I was guessing is her momma . I was looking for a while because I wanted to know if it was really Kodie but I couldnt tell && I guess she felt someone looking at her so she looked && seen me then smiled at me so I smiled back then got out the window .

You went to go do your daily hygiene still thinking about whether you just seen Kodie or not then put your clothes on && did your hair . After that you went downstairs to see your momma watching tv .

" good morning momma " you said giving her a kiss on the cheek .
" good morning sweetie , how was your sleep luv " your mom asked .
" it was good momma , how was yours " you asked .
" it was actually very good " your mom said smiling . " I was thinking about going next door to welcome our new neighbors to the neighborhood , sound good to you " your mom asked .
" yeah lets go " you said .

They left there house then walked next door . They knocked on the door && heard footsteps then the door opened .

" hello im ( ymn ) && this is my daughter ( yn ) , we just wanted to welcome you to the neighborhood && to say hi " your mom said .

" aww thats so sweet of you , im Hope its nice to meet the both of you , my daughter is upstairs unpacking ill call her down " Ms.Hope said . " KODIE COME HEA PLEASE " her mom yelled .
" HEA I COME MA " her daughter yelled from upstairs .

They then heard footsteps running down the steps && then you seen the same girl from earlier .

" Kodie this is ( yn ) && her mom Ms.( ymn ) , they live next door to us " Her mom explained .
" Oh hey im Kodie Shane , its nice meeting yall " she said looking at you .
" I thought that was you I was looking at earlier but I couldnt really tell " you said smiling .
" Yeah its me " Kodie said smiling at you .
" Well you guys can come over tonight if you want to for dinner , im making my famous Pasta Lasagna && I think your gonna love it " Your mom says .
" Sure we will definitely be over there " Ms.Hope says .
" Alright well it was nice meeting yall " your mom said waving .
" Nice meeting yall too " Kodie && her mom said waving .

Yall got back in the house && your mom started cooking while you got freshened up , then dinner was done && your mom freshened up as well .

Dinner Time ,

There was knocking at the door .

" ( yn ) get the door while I set this table up please " your mom says .

You get up to get the door .

" hello , you guys can come in " you said . " my moms in there setting up the table " you said pointing to the dinning room .

" Alright thank you " Ms.Hope said .
" Np Ms.Hope , ill be back I have to get something from my room " you said .

Kodie && her mom walks into the dinning room seeing your mom putting food on all the plates .

" Hey ( ymn ) , do you need any help " Ms.Hope asked .
" Oh no I got it girl , you girls can sit down . Would yall like anything to drink " your mom asked .
" Water would be just fine for me " Ms.Hope says .
" Do you have any juice " Kodie said .
" Yeah we have some Minute Maid fruit punch is that good " Your mom asked .
" yes thank you " Kodie said .

Your mom brings back their drinks then calls you downstairs .
You come back down the steps from preparing yourself to have dinner with Kodie Shane && her mom && you take your seat at the table which was next to Kodie .

" So ( yn ) how old are you ? " Ms.Hope asks .
" Im 18 ill be 19 in a few months tho " You say .
" well thats good , that means you && Kodie can be friends " Ms.Hope says smiling .
" Yeah " you said looking at Kodie .

They all got to know each other then soon it was time for everyone to get ready to gts .

" ( ymn ) That food was to die for hun thanks for inviting us over for dinner " Ms.Hope said giving your mom a hug .
" Thanks && sure anytime Hope " your mom said smiling .
" That food was fye Ms.(ymn) " Kodie said .
" Aww thank you Kodie " your mom said .
" Well it was nice talking to yall , see yall tomorrow " you said giving Ms.Hope && Kodie a small hug .
" See yall tomorrow " Ms.Hope said .

They walked to their house until Kodie turned around && ran to you .

" (yn ) lemme have your number , so we could maybe go out somewhere sometime " Kodie said .
" Sure Kodie " you said .

You put your number in her phone then saved it as (yn )💋 .

" ill text you tomorrow (yn ) " Kodie said running back to her house .

Kodie's Pov ,
I gotta have (yn ) && imma get her soon just wait .

After that night yall became the best of friends until yall wanted to be more than friends 👭💍 .
