Chapter 11 - King of Heaven (part 1)

Sam

'We had never such a great Christmas.' He was glad that Liz and Katy had convinced Dean to celebrate it this year. Liz and Katy... 'Where are they anyway?' They're already gone for hours. Not that he minded that they went out and had fun, but they would've send a message if they stayed out later. Now he started to worry. Great. He tried to ignore the bad feeling in his gut but he couldn't distract himself. He went to Kevin to ask if Liz had called him. As he denied, Sam got really worried. Was he over-reacting? No. They lost enough friends. He knocked at Dean's door. After a while a half-naked (seems to get one of his habits) Dean opened the door. "What?", he snapped. "Katy and Liz aren't back yet. They didn't call or message. Not answering our calls either." - "You think something happened, Sammy?" Sam nods. "They could be just in a club and didn't hear the phone." - "Dean. Please. I just got a bad feeling. Trust me with this, ok?" Dean looks still unconvinced. Sam sighs. "Fine. Fine, Dean. I'll go alone then." - "No.. Ok. Look.. I'll come with ok? Give me a minute." Sam can hear them talking. Dean gets dressed and they leave getting into the Impala. They drive for 10 minutes and arrive the town. Dean slows down a bit so they can look at the people on the streets and alleys. After what feels like hours of asking in bars and clubs if anyone saw Katy and Liz, a guy told them that two girls, who matched their descriptions, were in that bar about two hours ago. "Two hours. They could be anywhere!" Sam said exasperated as they walked out of the bar. Suddenly Dean gripped Sam's arm. "Sam.." As Sam's eyes followed Dean's staring eyes he held his breath. There were two familiar looking bodies laying on the ground.

Meanwhile in heaven...

Liz

Liz blinks a few times and looks around. 'Weird' She was in a big mansion filled with stuff she loves, like her favorite Teddy bear from her childhood and that beautiful dress she got from Katy... 'Katy!' She looks around frantically. "Katy!" Suddenly she remembers what happened. "Oh god.. I'm dead." she murmurs to herself, "I'm seriously dead.. but where.." She looks  confused around. Ten she gets it. "I'm in heaven... huh.." With a loud "Bang!" the door gets thrown open. There's standing a guy in a weird, kind of familiar looking, superhero costume. "Come with me." he says with a deep voice and "Whooshes" away. She doesn't exactly know why but she follows him without a doubt. They run through woods until they arrive at a small shed. He looks around to make sure they're alone and pushes the half broken-down door open motioning Liz to follow, so she does. She needs to blink a couple times because she's suddenly standing in a familiar bar instead of a small shed. The guy takes off his costume and smirks at Liz. "I'm Ash and this is my heaven, baby."

After a few minutes and two beers, Liz looks a lot less confused. "Ok.. so you found me because you know I'm friends with Sam and Dean. I'm dead and in heaven. Metatron, for whatever reason, wanted to get me to heaven." - "Yes. You and your friend, Katy. We need t find out why." - "Yea.. wait. Did you say Katy? Where is she?" - "She's at Bobby's. Let's go over, yea?" - "Yea. Sure." They get ready to leave and start running again as soon as they're out the door. After a bit of running and hiding (there were angels, Metatron's people, searching for the girls) they arrive at Bobby's. The place is full with people Liz knows from her favorite TV-show, though before she can even look at one of them properly, she has an armful of her best friend. "Oh god you're okay! I was so worried." Liz hugs her back and tells her how worried she was about Katy. After they both calmed down, Katy looks to the others. "Guys, this is Elizabeth. She prefers Liz though. Liz, that's Jo and Ellen Harvelle" Ellen smiles politely whereas Jo looks her up and down squinting her eyes slightly, "there's Pamela and Ash, who you already met" Pamela is sitting on Ash's lap and smiles at Liz, Ash smiles lazily, " and of course Bobby" Bobby nods in acknowledgement. Katy smiles at Liz "but you already know all of them." - "Totally not creepy that you know us but we don't know you at all." Jo says. Katy rolls her eyes and whispers, loud enough for everyone to hear, to Liz: "Don't mind her. She's grumpy because I flirted with Dean." - "Shut up, you bitch. I'm not jealous." - "Joanna! Watch your tongue!" - "But mom!" - "Could all of you idjits shut up and focus on the important stuff?!" Bobby looks grumpily at all of them and everyone shuts up. He turns to the two girls "Now tell us everything from the beginning on."
