" daisy, hey I'm sorry " whispered her
older brother as he smirked, looking at her cute frown as her honey-like hair fell to her face and then he turned his attention to the road.

The storm only grew as the rain poured louder. The clouds covered up all the stars today. A pity he thought. He looked at his baby sister and smirked again

She frowned even more at his smirk.

" princess I promise from now on I won't leave you like I did last time, I'll protect you from the demons. I'll protect you from our parents , I'll protect you from the bullies, I protect you from everything. I prom- "

Everything happened too fast. The storm shook the earth as a tank came speeding at them. Jack covered Daisy's body with his as it they crashed. Even the dead heard their screams. The car rolled over again and again as the storm still shook the earth. The window glass was everything with blood all over it.

But not Daisy's  it was jack's. tears and blood covered her face as jacks huge arms still held her. But he's eyes were lightless. They were dull. This green eyes that were once filled with mischief and joy were now empty.

" j-j-j-jake j-jake " she choke on her tears as a lump grew inside her throat " p-please j-jake "

He was still as the dead. He was gone. But she still held him. Even when the ambulance came speeding to help. Even when it became morning in the hospital.

Because she needed her hero. Her protective brother.He promised he'll protect her but he left her to the world of demons alone.

And empty.

All her emotions left her. Her sweet green eyes became as dull as his when they took away his body. And left her lying on the hospital floor.

The doctors tried to help her but they didn't know she was empty. Not only because of this.
But because of the world she'll have to face alone.

That happy Daisy Clare was gone. She had nothing left except a shell of the past.
