Seyan's Point of view.
Valerie is like a guy sometimes. She is so obsessed with sports. She is way too athletic. But she can't beat me at swim.
At swim practice
"You guys will be swimming a 100 free against your partner. The one who loses will have to do 50 pushups",Coach Tony says.
"You wanna be my partner," Valerie says.
"Only if you want to lose."
"Ok. Challenge accepted."
"On your mark!"
We both take our marks on the diving board. Valerie's eyes are straight forward.
"Get Set"
"Go"
I dive in the water and don't look beside me once. I already know that I am winning so I don't go my fastest speed. When I am finished I get out the pool and wait for Valerie to finish, but she isn't in th pool.
"Seyan start those pushups", My coach says.
Crap. I think. How is Valerie so good at everything. I should have went my fastest but I doubted her. Even though she is my best friend. I'm pissed. I am supposed to be the best one on the team. She better remember this moment because it will never happen again. EVER!
