Scott's POV

I walked down to Starbucks with Mitch.He texted someone while walking.He was so amazing.His black hair swooped to the side with his jacket on.

God I loved him to death.

But it's not possible to fall in love with your childhood friend,right?But,it's possible.Not possible for me and Mitch though.He only likes me as a friend.

"Scott?Are you alright?You seem a bit off lately."Mitch interrupts my thoughts."Yeah.I'm fine.It's just that I can't get my eyes off of you."I blurt.

Did I really just say that out loud?Nice going,Scott.Mitch chuckles and blushes furiously."Well,I can't get my eyes off of you either."He says.I blushed and smiled.

"Thanks."

"No problemo."Mitch laughs.God why did he have to be so cute?He was amazing.All of the sudden,he intertwines my hand with his hand.This was perfect.I didn't want his hand to leave mine for a moment.

We soon arrived at Starbucks.We went inside and got in line.We soon got ready to take our order.I told the cashier what I nodded.He nodded and smiled towards Mitch.

"And what do you want,cutie?"He flirted.

A hint of jealousy rose in me.Mitch told him what he wanted."Okay,cutie."

I got more and more jealous by the minute.We paid the cashier and sat down in a booth."Well that guy is a huge flirt."I spat.Mitch took my hand in his said,"I don't like him.He seems kind of shady."

I was glad to know that he thought the cashier was shady.He was shady to me too.

The cashier walked over to us and handed us out drinks."Thank you."Mitch thanked him.

I looked at the cashier and saw his name tag.His name was Robert it turns out."You're welcome,cutie."Robert winked.

The more he kept calling him cutie,the more I got jealous.I held onto Mitch's hand tighter."I would appreciate it if you would not call him names.He's my boyfriend."I lie.

Mitch mouthed to me saying,"What are you doing?".Robert nodded and walked off."What in the world was that,Scott?!You can't just go around saying I'm your boyfriend!"He quietly yelled."I'm just saving you,Mitch!I wasn't going to let him get away with that."I snap.

"Well I don't need you to save me,Scott.I am capable of saving myself."Mitch snapped back at me.

"Why can't you see I care about you,Mitch?!You're my friend and I care about you!I don't want to see you get hurt!"I yelled and stood up.Everyone in Starbucks gave me looks.

I honestly didn't care.

Before Mitch could say anything,I stormed out of the restauran.Mitch followed me out of there.

"Scott,I'm sorry!Please!"Mitch yelled.

I didn't bother to stop.I saw the apartment and ran.

*30 minutes later*

I laid in bed while Mitch was nowhere to be found.

Ugh.Love is messed up big time.
