Exposed

Twilight is now a princess.

Celestia P. O. V.

All of the princesses gathered in Cantorlot for a meeting. We were just about wrapping things up when a politician, a guard, and Morningstar, in chains, entered the room. "RELEASE HER!!!" I spat out before any pony could say anything. "Oh Celestia. I'd love to, wait, ha no I don't!" I snarled. Stupid politician, Diamond Luck (I suck at names!). "Leave my daughter alone!" Why must he be this way? I know he hates me but he has no right to go near my daughter! "You see Celestia, those who are not legal citizens of Equestria can be punished. According to the law."
"But that's only if that pony/creature has been hiding in Equestria for over 10 years." Twilight was trying to help the situation. "True. But, princess Twilight, you see, this mare is the daughter of both Celestia and Discord. And considering that she is an adult, I have come to the conclusion that she is just over 2,000 years old." He wore a satisfied smile. "Oh what do you know? He's actually smart." Morningstar said annoyed. Then, Diamond did something he's gonna regret. He punched Morningstar in the muzzle, causing her to fall backwards. My mama bear instincts kicked in. I slapped him as hard as possible. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!!!!" I yelled. I felt my blood boil,I didn't care. For the first time in my life, I wanted nothing more than to inflict pain on another pony. I took on a fighting stance, but Luna stopped me. "Sister it is not wise to do such an act! He has your daughter! Fighting won't solve anything."
"Besides, I am only here to take you to the dungeon. I want to keep you there during the execution."
"WHAT!?!?!?!?!?" All four of us yelled at once. My breathing quickened. The world felt like it was spinning faster than usual. Once everything went back to normal, I realized that we were all in the dungeon. Morningstar was also there. "Star! Oh my gosh, how - why are you still here?" She was still in the chains from earlier. "He said that my execution is tomorrow so I can spend some time with you guys." She gave a small smile. Tears weld up in both our eyes. I held her close. She started singing.

Ignore the "Little Moonbeam" part if you want. Also:
Celestia's mom = Morningstar
Celestia = Duh! Celestia!

I sniffled and cried as we continued to hug. "You promised you wouldn't leave me." I whispered into her ear. "I know. I'm so sorry that I couldn't be your perfect little filly. I wish I - "
"Shh! That's not true. You're the best thing that ever happened to me! I love you so much and I promise to never ever forget you! I love you so much!"
"I - I don't want to let g - go! Please, d - don't l - let them t - take m -me. Mama, Pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaasssssssse!!" She was crying very hard now. "I will do what I can." I kissed her on the head. "I promise." I held her in my hooves, rocking back and forth. Luna came up to us. She was also crying. She joined in on the hug. We stayed like this for a while. Eventually we went to sleep. I fear tomorrow.

••• the next day •••

Morningstar P. O. V.

I was the first to wake up. And, because misery loves company, Diamond came in immediately after. "Time for your death little one." He called to me. "Now be a good dear and come here. The quicker we leave, the quicker you die,the quicker I get revenge on Celestia!" He let out an evil laugh causing every pony to wake up in alarm. Mama placed herself in front of me blocking the way. Diamond teleported himself and me out of the cell with ease. Mama called out to me. I gave her a small smile. "It'll be okay. I'll be in a better place." I whispered softly. "Don't talk like that!" She stroked my cheek with her hoof. I chuckled and grabbed the hoof. "I will always love you." I walked off.

There was a small stage with a wooden pole. I was blindfolded and tied to the pole. I knew what would happen. They are gonna fire arrows at me til they get a bull's eye. I braced for impact. When it came, I felt pain wash over me. "LONG LIVE THE PRINCESSES!!!! I shrieked. And I took the breath that was my last.

Celestia P. O. V.

I went to her grave. I placed a rose on her tombstone. "Mama! Roses are so pretty! They're my favorite flower!" A flashback from her fillyhood came to me. "Mama, when I die, will you still love me?"
"Of course! I will love you forever!" Often memories came back to me like that. I sang.

I cried softly. Discord popped up next to me. He placed his flower down then hugged me. His turn to sing.

We cried together. I wonder if I'll ever be happy.....again.
