Hospitalised Her!

"I love you Rish,You are a gem!"

Maera woke up,and noticed the heaviness in her leg,as she turned to sit.
"Owww what the fuck!"extremely shocked,she cried.

She was in hospital's general ward,the smell of the cleansing liquid was over inside the room,there were 4 more beds in that room,it was clean and hygienic but noisy enough.

"It hurts,I know,Relax you will be fine soon,stay strong,look at me!"
A boy with a plaster in his hand,who was waiting for something or may be doctor on the next bed ,sympathized her.

"Hi!"
Maera replied with a forceful smile.

"I got this plaster,Two months ago,at first they said its only for 2 weeks,then the doctor extended the time period,last week he said its done,and today they will open it ..finally !"
The boy shared his experience.

"Hmmm"
Maera was so involved in her shock to reply.

"May be your plaster will lasts for 3 to 4 months,"
The boy said.

"Whaaaat???"

Shock over shock,incredible.!

"Its larger than mine,"
The boy said.

"Oh please,don't say that,its just some small crack and they want to earn money by applying these over me!These hospital and doctors just want to earn,no matter how!!"

Mixed emotions,teary eyes,and lonely feeling,Maera was screwed.

"Oh there,your boy friend!"

The boy indicated towards Rish,as he entered the room.

"He is not my boyfriend!"

Maera exclaimed.

"I Love you Rish,you are a gem,Nice way to express your love,I will try that too,for my crush,she is beautiful,and topper in my class!"

"What are you talking about little boy?"

"The Line written on your plaster"

"I love you too baby,how are you?"

Rish hugged Maera and teased her as he noticed,that she too noticed the line he wrote on her plaster.

"Rish ke bachche,I will kill you,"
Maera shouted.
"No baby ,you just help people and get more plasters,and fractures,have the fun in your life,"

Maera was red,almost crying.

"I never thought of this,I hate this heavy leg,I dont wanna be in this bed,please cant we leave this place?"
Maera cried finally,asking questions over questions .
"Soon we will,dont cry!"

"Is it that painful? How will you handle for months if you will cry just from today ??I told you to be strong!stay strong,look at me!"

The boy was popping like a hot popcorn.

"Whats your name buddy?"
Rish asked.

"Call me Benny"
Benny,12 year old boy,with plaster in his hand.

Doctor arrived with some tools,what they call as instruments.

"Its not that severe,you need to take care,follow prescription,try to walk slowly with less pressure,and must report after this week."

"How longer will it be,..."

Maera asked confusingly.

"2 weeks,not more"
Doctor replied.

"See I told you naah,then he will say 1 more week,then 2 more and it will lasts for 4 months"
Benny whispered, seriously,as the other nurse removed his plaster.

Maera stared him with her scary eyes.

"And you are All right,boy,just take care,not much pressure, and try not to run too fast!"
Doctor prescribed to Benny.

"Yes uncle"
He replied in an equal sincere manner.

"Lets go ,"
Maera asked Rish.
"Yes!"

As Maera and Rish were waiting for the cab,They saw Benny running towards them.

"Hey little boy,don't run,What happened?"

"Take this,its my father's card,call him if you need any help from me,for your girlfriend."

"I am not..."

Maera was interrupted by Rish ,as he replied to Benny,

"Thank you sir,I will surely call your dad if I need to talk to you"

"Take care girl,"

Benny said to Maera

"Maera couldn't resist,she smiled with a "good bye,take care".

Maera ,and Rish were sitting in the gallery,with two cup of coffee,and some maggie.

"So what now Rish ?"

"What Maera?"

"I cant stay in you flat any longer,drop me to my place,"

"And who will take care of you there?your devil landlord?or your Roommate who leaves at 6:30am and arrives at 9pm?"

"I cant stay with you Rish,you have already done a lot for me,please just ,I dont wanna be a burden anymore,and you too have your job ,I will take care of myself,just..."

"Shut up drama queen,stop behaving like typical Indian television girl,and stay with me until you get back on your sexy legs,badi aai Burden."

"You are safe here,Maera,Trust me,my job needs just 4 hours,rest of the time will be yours,and if you wanna take care of yourself,do it in those four hours,And I dont think,you want to be more formal?"

"No just take care of me,sister"
Maera replied.
"Oww shut up,m your love Darling,look at the words on your plaster."
Rish teased her with a blink.
"Just go to hell man"
Maera replied,Irritably.
