Chapter 9 romantic men

He lifted me up and drove me home. Nobody was home so I just walked up to my room and Nash left. I was looking through my window and saw Matt pacing in his room. I guess he left Jack J's right after me. He got his waterproof boom box, that I gave him for his 12th birthday. I walk back to my bed. I don't really care anymore about what he is doing. I sit on my bed and hear the rain hitting on the top of my roof. I hear the ladder outside my window. Like the sound of when Matthew used to come up here and watch scary movies with me in the summer. It's probably just the wind and the rain hitting against it I thought. Then I heard the song fll for you and heard someone singing along to it it was Matt so I decided to open up the window and I said "Are you crazy?" "Yes,crazy for you." That was the most romantic thing anybody has ever said to me. I sit next to Matt on the top of the ladder in the pouring rain. He leans in and kisses me. A 10 second kiss in the rain. It was beautiful. My favorite song. My favorite boy. Wait. I pulled away. and quickly climbed down the ladder. And ran. I first ran to Jacks house to see if Cam was there. He wasn't. I ran to Cam's house to see of he was there. He wasn't. Then I remembered the spot where we shared our first kiss and ran there. Sitting on the park bench was Cameron. I ran up to him. He looked up at me disappointed and slightly crying knowing what happened. I kissed him and whispered in his ear "I love you always, and don't you forget that" he smiled. And we kissed in the rain. As we kissed I still remembered the way I loved Matt.
