Esmae's P.O.V
I couldn't bare to see Izzy in this state.
I stared at that boy. Alex. This was his fault.
I let go of Izzy. She looked up shivering and wiped a tear away from her bloodshot eyes.
I strode up to Alex and grabbed him by the collar. I wasn't gonna look like a wuss, so I decided to do this the hard way.
I grabbed his collar and began to pull him up " Right we can do this the hard way,or the easy way. What the hell happe-"
I obviously had not calculated how heavy he was going to be, and was immediately pulled down to the floor.
I quickly rolled out of the way to avoid the awkward ' I don't know you and I'm now laying on top of you' situation.
"Umm ok. let me start again. What happened here?" I began, straightening out my clothes.
Alex rubbed his head " Well....She tripped and then....."
" AND THEN OLIVER SAW, AND..AND...." Izzy started shouting.
I ran to her side but she just pushed me away.
I needed to make her smile. Hmmmmm. Ah!!
I picked up my cell phone and dialled Mina's number.
After a few seconds of silence, she picked up.
"Hellooo?" " Hi Mina, are you working?"
She paused.
" Yeah I am. Why?"
I smiled " I'm giving you a day off"
" Oh..um, that's great!"
"Yeah, but you have to come straight to Izzys, ok? And bring Maia!"
"Um. Ok. See you in a sec" She finished and hung up.
Alex looked at me as if I was crazy, but I just shushed him and explained." Just trust me, I know what I'm doing."
He sighed. "Ok then."
After a few minutes Mina finally arrived with Maia.
I ran up to them both and whispered in their ears. They both smiled and nodded.
We all walked up to Izzy as Alex just stared at us.
Maia bend down next to her. "Hey Izzy"
Izzy flicked open her eyelids. " Oh hey Maia. Hey Mina." She said and carried on sulking.
Mina bent down near Maia and started to speak.
" Do you remember the hat song?"
Izzy looked up and for a moment I thought I saw a shine I'm her eye.
"Yeah. I know the hat song"
We all stepped back and Mina began to shout. "Ok! 1 2 3. GO!"

It finished with all of us sliding down on the floor.
Alex bursted our in laughter, so hard he couldnt breath.
On the other hand, Izzy was just sitting there silently.
I could see she was trying not to laugh, but she was doing a good job if holding it in.
We needed to do somethung to just open up that humour...hmmmm.
I have an idea.
i knelt down beside her and began singing a little tune in her ear.
" Oliver and Izzy sitting in a tree K I S-" " SHUT UP ESMAE. I DO NOT LIKE HIM"
When the other two figured out what was happening they joined in.
Even Alex hummed along.
Izzy began to blush a bright crimson.
We all laughed and she tackled Maia to the ground.
" Hey!! Why are you picking on me. I didnt start it!" Maia squealed.
" Cause you closest and an easy target!" Izzy smirked.
After the chaos we all sat down on the sofa.
I was glad Izzy was happy again. We all were.
" Hey Izzy" said Mina
" Yeah?"
" You dont have to worry about it, we know you dont like him"
" Yeah I know, thanks"
Izzys P.O.V
Why am I lying.
I do like Oliver.
I liked him ever since i layed eyes on him.
Watching the pain on his face hurt me so much.
I need to make things right.
Tell him the truth.
I got up from the crowded sofa, everyones eyes were glued to me.
" Where are you going?" Asked Esmae.
" Oh um. Im just going for a stroll. Y'know...To clear my mind"
"Oh ok, Well in that case im going home to have lunch. Im having Sushi!!" Esmae said fist pumping the air.
Mina and Maia jumped up " Omg!! We love sushi! Esmaeeee. Can we come round for lunchhhh?!?!"
Esmae sighed " Fine"
Mina and Maia highfived and began to walk out of the door followed by Esmae.
Just before they left Maia mouthed somethinh to me.
I could just make it out.
Dont give up on him.
I nodded my head and I could see her smile just before Esmae shut the door.
Now it was just me and Alex.
I stared at him tapping my foot on the soft carpet.
He just sat there awkwardly untill he got my hint.
" Oh uh....Im gonna go back to football training now...um bye."
He said jogging out of the door.
Now that everyone was gone, i could leave in peace.
Make everything right.
I stepped out of the open door the wind sucking the air out of my lungs.
It was so cold outside, I would probably catch a cold, but i didnt care.
I didnt have time for coats and scarfs.
Nothing was going to stop me from finding Oliver!
Ohhh whats gonna happen to Izzy?!?
