Zach wasn't kidding when he said it gets cold at night. I'm quite surprised that it's summer and it is THIS cold. I hug myself while walking and use my phone as a flashlight.

''Are you okay?'' Zach asks checking in on me.

''Yeah I'm fine I'm just a little bit chilly that's all'' I say with a closed smile. He puts his beanie on my head and we continue walking. ''So how far is the park?'' I ask.

''It's only two minutes away and they sell hot cocoa so that'll keep you warm'' he says with a smile.

''How are you not freezing?'' I ask in suspicion.

''I'm cold but I'm not freezing...are YOU freezing?'' He asks stopping while looking at me.

''Pretty much'' I say with a giggle.

''Oh ma god!'' He yells out.

''What?''

''If you're freezing then we should head back. It dangerous''

''No it's fine! I want to explore!'' I say back moaning.

''If you say so'' he continues and he places his arm around me while we start walking again and I put my arm around his waist. He's about two inches taller than me.
(A/n I honestly don't know why I said the height but okay)

I feel so safe around Zach. Even though we just met, I feel like we're going to get along pretty well. We like the same things and we share a lot of interests in each other. We're going to be close friends, I know it.

''Here we are!'' Zach says pointing at the park. ''It's empty because it's past eight but they still give out hot cocoa somewhere here!'' Zach explains.

''This is so cute and romantic!'' I say pulling away from him and looking around. There's swings, seesaw, slides and more!  "I never knew a park would be THIS romantic''I continue. I see a few couples walking around a pathway holding hands and giggling while taking selfies. It's so pretty and sweet.

"Well...I come here most of my days just to hang out or to clear my head'' Zach says in a sad tone but he covers it up with a smile. There's something up with Zach. I to talk to him.

''Hey let's sit in one of those benches'' I say softly pointing at the branch beside us as we sit down. ''Zach,'' I continue looking up to him.
''You've been pretty sad and depressed since we were in the van...what's up?'' I ask in a sad tone back.

''Whaat?" He asks sugarcoating it.

''Come on, Zach. I know we just met and i know you don't want to tell me your personal problems but...I'm here for you...'' I say smiling and putting my hand on his knee.

''Well, I don't want to talk about it. I don't want to fill you in with drama since you just got here and-''

''Hey, look,  Zach, you can tell me. I've been told I'm the right person to talk to  if anyone has a personal problem. So please, Zach...I beg you, tell me what's wrong'' I ask him as nicely as possible trying not to be needy.

''Well...'' he says in a sad tone looking back at me.
''Remember when I told you that our old manager bailed on us?'' He asks.

''Yeah?" I say back interestingly crossing my legs and facing him.

''He told me personally that I shouldn't be in the band because I'm the worst one in the group. He said that the band is failing because of me. He said that if I don't leave the band now, they won't be successful...'' he says tearing up. "He started telling me death threats like 'the world would be a better place if you weren't in it. Kill yourself''' and now he's actually crying. I feel so pity for the sweet thing.
