"Alright class I have one more thing for today. As you know today is barely the first day but as AP chem students you have a lot of responsibilities. With your lab partners, I want you guys to write an essay on the significance of electron configurations and how it relates to the periodic table. I expect that you'll all try your best and start the year off with a bang. You're dismissed!" Wait this can't be right, I'd have to work with Harry. What if he doesn't like me? What if I get left to do all the work myself? What if he doesn't agree with my ideas? Calm down for once Leah.

"Look I just want to get this over with so how about you come over tomorrow?" His voice was so raspy and it was clear he wasn't from here due to his thick British accent.

"I..um..yeah sure," why was I so nervous when I spoke to him? There was just something about him that was so appealing. His tattoos, they covered almost every inch of his arms, there had to be a story behind every single one of them because no one just gets that many tattoos for no reason right?

"Are you even listening to me?" Harry snapped and I realized I was staring. "I asked for your number."

"Oh I'm sorry," my face flushed. How could I be so stupid? We swapped phones and when I handed Harry his phone back he darted out of the class room without another word.

There was just something about his presence...it was so mysterious.

"Omg Leah you won't believe..." Aubree went on and on rambling about how the first half of her day went and how she had almost every class with Justin. For those of you that don't know, Justin was that guy that was adored by every girl in school or at least every girl except me, and always had everyone's attention on him. No one really knew but I had a bad past with Justin, a summer fling that didn't end so well.

Just as she was beginning to explain to me how her history teacher seemed to be a total jerk, I collided with a rock hard chest. I looked up and his emerald green eyes were peering deep into my chocolate brown ones.

"Can you watch where you're going?!" He huffed and pushed past me.

I held my breath in not knowing if I should apologize or what but next thing I knew he was gone.

"Who was that?" Aubree asked.

"Harry Styles, he's new here and he's also my lab partner for chem. There's just something about him," my mind became flooded with thoughts about Harry. I barely met him but he was so mysterious.

"Leah I think you should be careful. He looks like trouble and I don't want anything to happen to you"

"Don't worry Aubree. Looks aren't everything you know ," I reassured her. "I can hold my own if I had to."

I grabbed my usual ham sandwich and apple for lunch, and then headed for our usual eating spot outside. We always ate lunch under this huge oak tree that was located in the field. From our view we could see the entire school.

As I bit into my sandwich my mind traveled to Harry again. He looked like trouble but something about him gave me the idea that once you get to know him he can be different. But I knew one thing for sure.

I wanted to get to know this Harry Styles.
