Chapter 2

Around 11:45 I went downstairs to grab something to eat. Justen followed. When I was done eating I go upstairs to my room and shut the door behind me. I grabbed a bag out of my closet and started putting stuff in it. I started with clothes, enough for a week. Then I unplugged all my chargers ad put them in the bag. I shoved my laptop in right as Justen walked in. Then I put my phone in my pocket. "Stay" Justen said, putting his arm in front of me so I couldn't leave. "You just don't understand, do you? I can't stand staying here right now. The stress is getting to me. So bye" I say, moving him out of the way and shoving past him. Once I was outside I flew off. Once I was gone I got a text from Justen.

Justen: Why are you leaving. Besides stress.

Me: they are coming for my magic, T.j. told me...they are looking for me, they want me as an experiment, to test on. I'm not gonna let that happen. Soon they will be after you when they notice I'm gone, so you have to leave.

Justen: umm...

Me: please, for me...your older...you have more experience with this than I do...just leave...

Justen: ok..

Once I got farther I saw Toby's house. I landed in her balcony.  and tapped on her glass door. She came and opened it for me. "need to stay a while? I can tell your stressed" she said. "um, yeah if that's ok with you" I said. "of course. Your welcome anytime you need" she said, feeling bad for me. She knew what was going on before I did. I put my bad down and opened it. I got out my laptop and tablet and plugged them in so they didn't die while I was sleeping. I grabbed my clothes and went into her bathroom to change. "hey, do you have a hair tie I can use" I asked. "yeah it's out here" she says. Once I'm done changing I go out and tie up my hair. I flop on her bed and fall asleep.

*11:30pm*

Me and Toby woke at the same time. "Did you hear that too" I asked her, extremely quiet. "if you mean the loud bang from downstairs, yes" Toby said as quiet as I did. I quietly got up and opened the door with her behind me. I yelled downstairs "Hello"? "Hey, it's just me God" Lucas yelled back. Me and Toby sighed loudly and layed back down.
