The school, as ancient as man, still stood it's place within the forest surrounding it. The trees covered it as if trying to hide the dark past of the school, along with all the mysteries about it. The school still looked the same as it did before, as if it was stuck in time, struggling to get out of the horrible dark mysteries within it. As it always did, the moon's moonlight seeped through the trees giving the forest a magical feeling, although it was far from it. This school was very popular and was one of the most winning award academy in the country, thus why the shut down of this place was a huge shock to everyone. The deaths of many children, 5 to be exact, made the school shake in fear; leaving it hollow inside like many peoples hearts.  No one knows how or who killed them. People say it was suicide. However, the truth will hopefully one day be revealed; brave souls, brought upon the earth to discover the mysteries...

The Brave ones

I wake up to the familiar smell of my bed sheets, the sun seeping through the gap of my curtains; dust particles in the air. As i sat up i kicked my bed sheets towards the end of my bed sitting there for a moment or two. Managing to move in the morning is such a pain; especially since Hannah would normally be charging into my room right now. As i sign i hang my legs over my bed i look at a picture of me and Hannah. Shrugging off the tears i get up and get changed and sit on my couch, with a cup of tea. As i stare at my recording gear, i remember the days of making YouTube channels with Hannah. It's been 5 years since then, the anniversary for the 5 missing people is in a couple of days. Hannah was the first one who disappeared, everyone didn't understand the pain i went  through. As i was sat there drowning in my thoughts there was a knock on the door and 4 familiar voices, ones who understood my pain.  I placed my tea on the table and went to open the door, as i did the everyday attitude between them started stirring up. Ashley and Sam where the ones who always competed against each other, there 'competitions' could last for hours. Then there was Faye, she was the loud mouth of the group, she would always try to stop their competitions. Last there is Mack, once he goes to stop the competition Ashley and Sam always go quiet. I would call myself the quiet one in the group, i used to be  like Faye when Hannah was around.

Moving on

I grabbed my coat and we headed to town through the snow, we always went to the same restaurant. The snow blocked the sun shining, the lamp posts then glimmered through the falling snow. The sound of the crunching snow beneath our feet echoed through the town as we made our way to the restaurant. We didn't talk much on the way, as we were battling against the snow to get there. We finally got there and everyone cheered, we went to open the door but saw a sign covered in frost saying 'closed'. As we they stared in surprise i looked up to the sky, maybe it's time we move on. I walked away, with only my footprints left behind in the snow; everyone looked as my silhouette disappeared within the snow.  I could hear them shouting my  name but it all blurred as i walked to the bridge; it was silent, the only sound was the snow falling upon the floor. I looked at the river, which had a thick ice layer covering it like a blanket. I thought about the time me and Hannah would play on the ice, even though we got told off for it. We would always laugh and were so happy; how could something so terrible happen to her? As i was lost in my thoughts, two hands where placed on both of my shoulders. As my tears fell on the ice i looked up to see Ashley and Sam smiling at me, with Mack and Faye in the background. I rubbed my tears away with my fur coat and put my hand in the middle, they all understood me and put there hands on top of mine. Everyone each said the words together "We wont let their deaths be in vein!" With those words, we had a new plan set out for us all. That on the anniversary of their deaths we would seek what actually happened to them. Our minds where set, along with our hearts, we will not turn back on our words now.

The missing

The five people who went missing have always been held tight in their loved ones hearts. The five peoples name where: Hannah, Oliver, Leo, Jane and Cameron. These where all close with the ones who swore that they're deaths wont be in vein. Oliver was Ashley were best friend, they would always hang out with each other and play basketball with Sam and Leo. They would always be the loudest on the school grounds, always hearing them from the other side of the field. Whilst Faye and Jane were the librarians, always having to shut the windows to try  block out the noise. Although, surprisingly they where quite loud in class. The school was always quiet busy and noisy, but the library was silent, no one whispering or shouting or goofing around; it was quite peaceful. Whilst Mack and Cameron where the ones who would play football all day, saying basketball was boring and football made you look cooler; and all the girls where obsessed with them. Then there's Hannah, who was Elly's younger sister. They where the intelligent ones, they would always study, then after school they would go out and always go places they know they shouldn't. These 5 souls still live on in the school, waiting for the day that they can go and be at peace.
