After they identified all the soldiers, took health tests, and got their gear they began the military hair cuts. Nikita laughed thinking of how much Nicole would hate this. Nikita was cutting her hair where it's long enough to braid and put in bun, but not any longer than that. It was sad to see her long brown hair getting cut, but sacrifices had to made. Nicole always told Nikita that her hair and her eyes were her best features. Her eyes were blue diamond crystals, as Nicole would say. Nikita was considered to be a rather pretty girl. Some even said she reminded them of Katniss from Hunger Games. That always made her laugh.

After the haircuts, they were told which cabins they were to report to. Fort Jackson reminded her of a summer camp. There were the women's cabins on one side and the men's cabins on the other. The cafeteria, workout facility, and office were all located in the middle. Where there weren't buildings, there were trees. Several paths were visible through the trees. Nikita deducted that they led to obstacle courses and other training exercises. Though the names for the cabins were not quite as creative. Nikita was told to report to cabin 2. She jogged up the steps of the porch, and opened the door. The room was rather small. There was barely enough room for the two bunk beds, the two dressers, and the single night stand. Nikita claimed her bed, and began unpacking.

The next girl to enter had blond hair and blue eyes. This girl strangely reminded Nikita of Nicole. She struggled to pull her bag into the room. The bag was so big, it had to have contained the entire city in it. It seemed like this girl was gonna have a hard time fitting in around here,

"I'm Hannah, and if you don't mind, please stop staring and help me. I'm kinda struggling here." she demanded rudely.

Nikita grabbed onto the other side of the bag and helped her drag it in.

"Got enough stuff there?" Nikita asked.

"Just because we are in the army doesn't mean we can't try to look nice," Hannah said with attitude.

Yeah, this girl was definitely gonna have a hard time around here. They managed to drag her bag to the opposite bunk Nikita was in.

"Thanks. I didn't get your name." Hannah stated.

"Nikita."

Hannah was about to respond as the door opened. Nikita was pleased to see the next girl to walk in was Madison. Madison shot Nikita a look the second she saw Hannah and her bag. Nikita refrained from laughing, but did smile slightly. Nikita introduced Hannah and Madison to each other. Madison couldn't help roll her eyes at the make-up caked on Hannah's face.

"I wonder who the last girl is," Hannah questioned. They were all wonderingly that, but no one ever entered the room. They all unpacked, and got into their bunks.
