Emily's point of view
*****
"Ms.Auburn!"
I woke up with a sudden jolt and looked up to see Mrs.Garner with a disgusted scowl on her face. "That is a very rude look you are giving me, Mrs.Garner. Now, can we continue learning?" I asked and tried to pull off a sweet, innocent look.
"Detention." She walked back up to the front of the class and started talking again. I groaned and looked over and stared at that boy. Dammit. You told yourself you wouldn't do this, not again, not after...
I looked away and saw a girl with short, blond hair looking at me and I soon as I caught her, she looked away and giggled. I then looked over and saw a girl with jet black hair and a nose piercing. She had her eyes glued to the teacher and she had a piece of paper on her desk.
I leaned over and looked at what it said.
I'm going to stop talking. No one cares, so why should I waste my breath? All I am is a toy people like to play with, but then get bored with it, yet, they never throw it away. All of them have built their lives on causing pain and judgment. I have a good feeling about the new girl. Emily Auburn. She might be the one to stand up for us. I hope she is.
I felt bad for this girl, and I will be her friend because that is just who I am. The girl snapped her head towards me and looked over at the teacher, once again. I sighed and twiddled with my thumbs, then I heard a bell and everyone jumped up from their seat, including me.
I caught up to that girl and walked next to her. "Hello, I'm.." She cut me off by saying, "Emily Auburn, I know." I nodded and kept walking with her. "I'm Lacey Davis. Nice to meet you." She smiled and I looked down at her wrist and saw a little scab peeking out from underneath her bracelets.
I didn't confront her about it though. I didn't want to barge in on her personal life and have her be embarrassed. I nodded and went my separate way to get to my locker.
