Chapter 10~ What have you been hiding from me?

*Sophia's POV*

We were driving for a while. Silence filled the air, but  warm, cozy silence. Justin's fingers were wrapped around mine. My head leaned against his shoulder.  Gah I could do this all day. 

"Are we close?" I asked him in a soft sleepy voice. He kissed my forehead.

"Very, my princess" he said keeping his eyes on the road. I looked out the window. We were the only ones on the highway, other than that 1 random car passing us every 20 minutes. It was getting lighter outside and I was getting sleepier. I looked up at Justin, he looked somewhat worried, and not tired whats so ever. Which is very weird, because we only got about 4 hours of sleep.

"Whatcha thinking about baby?" I asked, hoping he wouldnt give me a half-ass answer. 

"... I dont know." he said with a smirk on his face.

" You dont know, or you dont want to tell me?" I joked.

" Its not the right time... Okay?" He replied in a concerned voice. I didnt agrue, or fight back.

"Okay baby." I said as I nuzzled my forehead into his shoulder. Honestly, I trust Justin with my life.... If he doesnt think its the 'Right time' to tell me something, I wont try to force it out of him. When he's ready, he's ready.    He smiled.

"You're amazing." He chuckled.

"Oh, I already know!" I joked, as I roled my eyes. Justin laughed as he ran his fingers through his hair. 5 minutes later, we pulled up to a diner. It  was 6:34 am. There were 4 cars parked in the parking lot.

"Hungry?" I asked,

"Starving, you?" He asked.

"Yessss!" I said, as I unbuckled my belt and jumped out of the car. Justin walked up to me and wrapped his arm around my waiste. Justin opened the door for me, as I walked into the diner. The rush of bacon, eggs, pancakes, and coffee filled my nose.

"Its smells great in here!" I said,

"I know. I use to come here all the time. It has amazing food." Justin excalimed as we sat our selves at a booth. There were already menu's on our table. I looked around and saw a couple people scattered here and there. A lady in a short jean skirt and a plaid cropped shirt walked up to us with a pen and paper in her hand. She had short blonde hair, and pounds of makeup on, I could tell she was around 21 years old.

"Hi, my name is Caroline. I'm going to be your waitress for to day. What can I do ya for?" She said in a sarcastic voice, while looking down at her nails. I looked at Justin and shrugged my shoulders.

"We havent really looked at the menu yet. But we will start off with 2 waters please." Justin said. Before the waitress could responde, she looked up and her eyes widened. She twirled her hair around her finger.

"Anything for you," She said in a flirty voice. As she walked away her eyes met mine, and gave me a dirty look. As soon as she was out of sight, I started laughing.

"Hahahaaah, Wow. Justin. Now I see why you 'Love' this diner!" I said while holding my stomach trying to help it from hurting from laughing so hard. Justin laughed and scratched the back of his head.

"Jeez, I cant help that I'm flawless babe!" He joked. I rolled my eyes and picked up my menu. GOSH there are too many options.. Im torn between a Bacon sandwich, and pancakes with bacon and fries. Hmhhmhmmm... I'll go with a Bacon sandwich.Seconds later the waitress made it back to our table. I held in a laugh, noticing her "Adjustments" to herself to catch Justin's attention. She unbuttoned her top and pulled up her skirt.

"Have you guys decided?" She asked in a decent voice. Justin, still looking at the menu, ordered.

"Uhm... I'd like a Bacon sandwich with a side of fries please." He said in a kind voice. She jotted in down. Aweh, Justin and I have the same taste. The waitress turned to me,

"And you?" She asked in a sassy voice. I giggled.

"Same as his, exept a side of fries AND pickles please and thank you. " I answered as she walked away. I looked over at Justin, his mouth dropped wide open.

"What?" I asked in a curious voice.

"Nothing... Its just usually when I take girls out they order a salad or a soup." he smirked. Well I love food, I dont care if I stuff my face around Justin.... Although I probably should so I dont look like a pig....

"Oh, well...I love my food. "I said, unsure how to really answer that. 

"Good! There is nothing more attractive than a girl with a big appetite!" He assured me. I let out a deep breathe of relief. 10 minutes later the waitress walked out with our food. Justin and I ate, talked, laughed. It was going amazing! When we were done ,the waitress walked up to us and handed over the bill. She winked at Justin... Frustration rushed through me..... At the beginning it was "Cute" , but now its just fucking annoying. Cant she see I'm with him! Ugh. I looked over at Justin he was laughing while looking at the bill,

"What is it?" I asked. He handed me the bill, the waitresses number was printed on the side of it with the words "Call me <3" next to it.

"Hahaha, like that would ever happen." Justin said. I was happy he didnt pay attention to her like that. He's so wonderful. Damn it. 

Justin placed the money on the table and took the number from the bill, not to be rude. We were about to get up and leave, when Justin's face went blank, I traced his eyes and looked at the door. A guy walked in with about 6 others,looking around.

"Fuck...." I heard Justin mutter under his breathe. 

"Get down Soph!" He wispered as he gestured under the table,

" What why?" I asked confused. 

"Just listen to me ,get under the fucking table!" He demanded. Justin has never sworn at me before... I was worried, so I listened. We both slipped under the table together. We sat silent for a second. But there were so many questions running through my mind....

"Who are we hiding from? Those guys?" I blurted out in a whisper. "Who are they?". Justin took a deep breathe. I could hear the guys talking from across the diner, I heard Justin's name come up a couple times. 

"Squad-X" He said while looking down at the floor.

"Who?" I asked, even more confused then before.

"Conor." Justin said as he looked in my eyes. I could see the anger building up in his face,

Squad-X? Conor? WHAT IS GOING ON?!   What have you been hiding from me?
