Masked Mate---(Completed)

Chapter 17

Layla’s POV

She pulled me out of the room with a smile gracing her face just as she closed the door I noticed the whole upper floor was full to the brim with people. I turned to see my father heading towards me when he noticed what I was wearing a scowl made its way to his face.

“Why are you wearing that scums clothing?” he growled out, as soon as my father had started to growl the room started emptying, by now only a few people remained as my father fumed.

“Dad, I don’t care what you say I am going to see my mate” he grabbed onto my shoulders and looked down at me, his eyes showed his true feelings, it wasn’t because I was mates with the enemy clan it was because I was his baby girl.

“Layla, you will not see him, you will not exit this floor unless accompanied by me until we leave Layla” the power of an Alpha command rang in my ears and I growled loudly at him.

“You cannot do this to me, he’s my mate dad, just accept it, you can’t impose an alpha command just because you don’t want me to leave… Don’t you want me to be happy?” I finished quietly his tough exterior fell away as he pulled me to his chest tightening his hug around me.

“If it guarantees I’ll never have to see you that way again then yes” and then he walked off, just left me standing in the room by myself. I snarled a little and made my way back into my room as I heard people start to make their way back upstairs.

Grabbing my phone I quickly dialled Lilly’s number when she didn’t pick up I called Noah, neither of them answered their phones causing me to worry, until I heard a loud call from out my window. Running over I saw Lilly and Noah jumping out of a cab and looking up to me as I called to them.

“Dad you better bloody let me out. Lilly and Noah are here and if you don’t let me go to them I will never talk to you again” I yelled in our mind link as I ran down the stairs to the doorway of our pack rooms, my father was waiting there for me and nodded allowing me to pass.

Just as the front doors of the main ballroom opened to reveal Lilly and Noah standing there, I ran as fast as I could towards them and jumped up into Noahs strong arms hugging him tightly with Lilly beside hugging onto me as well.

A loud growl was let out behind them and I saw Hunter in wolf form glaring at Noah, I unhooked myself from them and stepped away slightly. My father came running to my side but I couldn’t let him stop me, I took off toward Hunter and smashed into him letting his soft blackish fur run through my fingers.

“Hunter” I smiled as his head ran over to top of me and pulled me closer to his chest he let his nose travel to my neck and nuzzle in as he took deep breaths of my scent. I felt his body changing around me and I was soon wrapped up in his strong warm arms being caged against his chest. “Layla” his whispered in my ear as he let small kisses trail up my neck.

“LAYLA! GET BACK HERE!” my father yelled angrily behind me but I took no notice as I pushed myself closer to Hunter trying to have as little space possible between us.

“Layla, I love you” Hunter whispered to me but I knew my father had heard as his loud fighting behind me stopped waiting in anticipation for my reply, Hunters stiff body told me he was waiting as well.

“I love you too Hunter, I love you too” I said as I jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist and kissed him, sparks shot around my body and I felt alive with love and power and an overall feeling of just being full, complete, together.
