Hey guys, so this will be my last post for about two months maybe.. Yeah I'm sorry :(

I'll maybe post here and there but it won't be well written post or maybe it will be, you and me both will have to see what comes out of this brain of mine :)

The reason for this is because I have exams coming up and last semster I didn't do as well as I had hoped I had done so I will be focusing more on my studies BUT I'm not giving up on the story okay?

Enjoy :)

Chapter Seven: You're obviously busy

"I'm sorry about calling you a whore thing." Cynthia whispered to me as we sat in Economics. I nodded my head and smiled.

"I'm sorry for shouting out you're secret, I didn't mean to, it was a bitch move on my part." I told her hoping she wouldn't lash out and tell me that I was a bitch and I hoped we didn't have another hair pulling episode again.

She smiled and waved me off. The bell rang and we both got up, it was the end of the day and I wanted to go ad visit my Mom. I waved bye to Cynthia and started my walk to the hospital.

-*-

"Hey Mom," I whispered as I opened the door to her room, trying to be as quiet as possible, afraid that the most silent squeak of the door could irritate her.

"Hi Sweetheart," She said in a soft voice, she was putting up a strong front and I could see right through it, my Mom was in pan and she was dying. That thought alone brought on more tears.

"Mommy, please don't leave me." I sobbed silently into my hands, the beeping noise of her heart wasn't at a normal pace, the white walls weren't comforting it seemed as if they were closing in on me. I couldn't lose my Mom she was the only thing keeping me sane, the insults and discouragements from my Dad were heartbreaking and my Mom would always be there for me afterwards when I would lay on my bed crying.

"Oh honey," She called out, motioning for me to lay down on the bed with her, I sat on the edge being careful not to hurt her," I'm not going anywhere, anytime soon. We're gonna make the best of this while I'm still here." She told me softly, rubbing my back with her skinny hand, the bones in her hands were sticking out, I could name each bone in her hand, that's how clearly you could see her bones.

"Please don't go!" I cried, sobs were ripping my chest apart, making it difficult to breath. My Mom was making soothing shushing sounds while her hand rubbed my back, making breathing a little easier.

We sat there for a while, me crying and my Mom breathing softly, trying to calm me.

"You better go home, honey." She said after a while, I nodded my head and stood up.

"I'll come back tomorrow, okay?" She nodded her head and I bent down to kiss her forehead. I walked out of the room and out to the parking lot, pulling out my phone I dialed Troy's number.

"Hello?" Said a females voice.

"Er, can you give the phone to Troy please?" I said, unsure if my voice held the jealousy that I was feeling, I heard a zipping sound in the background and a muffled voice, there was a giggle and then his voice entered my ear.

"Hello? Who is this?" Troy sounded out of breath, flustered.

"Yeah this is Jasmine, do you mind picking me up from the hospital?" I asked him softly, afraid that my voice would crack with sadness if I spoke too loud," On second thought, it's okay, you're obviously busy, I'll make other plans." I told him.
