I had just got off the plane when my best friend Jordan also my new room mate in Vegas. She called me asking if I wanted to move out from my little LA apartment. She owned a 2 story house she bought a year ago with the money she saved from work. Even though we were friends since middle school Jordan never told me what she did for a living since she moved.
My phone started playing "dirt road anthem" by Jason Alden letting me know that Jordan was calling probably to see if I landed.
"HEY! Have you landed yet?" she yelled almost making me drop my phone on the ground by her sudden yell into my ear.
" yeah just got off the plane. Where you wanna meet? Also thanks for making me go deaf in my right ear lets meet by the Starbucks by gate 6G ok I'm getting a coffee like usual u want anything?"
" yea how about the pink drink I'll see you there in a second just got to park my car"
"Ok see you then"
" see ya"
I walked into the Starbucks and placed the order. I then paid the cashier and sat down in the store I started to get lost in thought when a tap on my shoulder startled me. Noticing it was Jordan I got up and said "yeah lets do this thang, oh yeah here's your drink"
We started walking to her car when I spotted a black and red dodge challenger that looked almost brand new, it was so clean you could see your reflection in the car I told Jordan to look because she always loved Challengers.
"Yo J look at this challenger man"
" nice car lets go look at it closer" she replied making me say "okay"
When I noticed she opened the car's driver side door.
"ARE YOU FREAKING CRAZY YOU CAN'T JUST OPEN SOMEBODY ELSE'S CAR!" i yelled at her making her look at me like i was stupid "bro just get in the car, i own the damn thing" she responded making my jaw drop too the floor in shock.
