Chapter 21

* After dinner*

"Berry this spaghetti so far the best one I've tasted " Zach said getting up and getting more. I feel happy and smiled him. "Thanks that means a lot" I replied
"I remember back in 3nd grande when she want to bring spaghetti for a Halloween party" Ariel add.

"Oh yeah and I remember your mom said no because it wasn't a Halloween food" we heard my dad say walking into the kitchen "I was sad that day dad I was excited to bring that but i end up bring something else" I replied laughing.
"But lucky your mom had a plan" he said

"Talking about mom where is she dad" Ariel said getting up and putting her and my plate in the sink.
"Oh she's upstairs sleeping since we got back from the doctor" he said sitting at the table with Jacob.

"How did it go how's the baby doing" I said " the appointment went fine all your mom needs to do is take her vitamins for the baby" dad replied, we continue talking until there was a knock at the door.

"I'll get it" i said running to the door. I opened it with one water bottle in my other hand.
"Martin res- " I stopped and noticed I didn't know the person,
"Are you marie Martin " the guy spoke up looking down at his hand,

"BERRY WHOSE AT THE DOOR" I heard Ariel yell. I didn't notice what happened next because everything went so fast, I closed to door really fast but it was already to late the guy had the knife pointing at me.
"Don't move alex told me to send you a message" he brushed the knife up my arm and to my face, "h-how do you know me" I replied trying to move back, "don't worry about it I'll just break your arm and leave a little shot"he said letting go of the trigger ,"NO STOP" I said sounding scared.

"Who's At the door mar-" I heard Zach say but he was cut off by guy grabbing my arm and trying to break my arm,
"GET AWAH FROM HER IM GONNA CALL THE COPS" Zach said yelling and running to me and trying to pull me but it was already to late he had broke my arm and stabbed me in the leg. At this point i was on the floor with a broken arm and blood coming out of my leg.

*Zach's prov *

I left the kitchen to check up on Marie. I walked to the entrance and heard berry say something but didn't catch what she said so I walked in.

"Who's at the door mar-"right at that moment I was cut off, and saw some guy grab a Marie's arm and breaking it, I ran to her and yelled " GET AWAY FROM HER" I said pulling Marie out of the away from this guy. But I was to late he had already stabbed her on her left leg. I looked at marie and back at the guy who didn't even try to run seemed like he was scared .

I took my eyes off him for a second and let down Marie's head and ran after the guy who got into a black car and had tired to pull out but couldn't, I picked up a rock and throw it to the side of his car window.
"Who the fuck are you and who sent you " I said punching him in the face and I saw as he had a smile on his face, and replied with "alex said that he'll be back soo very soon" I called the cops and waited as the came, I pushed the guy over to the sidewalk so he wouldn't be on the road and called Ariel.

*at the hospital *
They finally took the guy and I took Ariel and Jacob to the hospital, while her dad stayed behind to clean a little and to tell his wife what happened.

When we to the hospital with berry, the doctors told us that she fine and that it wasn't as bad as it could of been. "Will we be able to see her" Ariel add, the doctor shook his head,"not at this time we are putting stitches in her leg and transferring blood into as we speek",Ariel gave the doctor a weird look and I confused. "I thought you said she's fine" I said sounding a little annoyed. "Oh she is we've add a cast on her arm and her leg but she did lose a lot of blood again and but the looks of it where the person that stabbed her knew were her vain was in her leg and poked it there, causing half of her blood to come out fast" the doctor add and walked away.

Jacob looked at us from the chair he was sitting at as we walked back to tell him, "so what did they say is she ok", "she is but we can't see her " Ariel said walking outside . "I'll go call dad and tell him what happened" with that she left and it was just me and Jacob in the waiting room. 

"Is she really ok Zach tell me the truth I know Ariel babies me a lot and it gets annoying"he said looking at me,"to be honest with you buddy no she's not they said that since she lost a lot of that they are working of adding mor-"I got cut off by Ariel's parents walking in.
