Carrie was an orphan. She lived and grew up in a house of abandoned children, as she described it. She hated it, she hated every single second of being in the orphanage ever since she started having a mind of her own.

Even though there were nuns and priests taking care of her and the other orphans, she cannot help but feel alone and still, abandoned. She has two best friends, those that never left her side. Mark and Kim were their names, and Carrie describes them as the best people in the world and people who will never leave and abandon her.

Everyone else in the orphanage were bitches and assholes to her. Carrie was always the quiet one, and to avoid any fights and misunderstandings, she just follows whatever anyone asked her to do.

When she, Mark, and Kim turned eighteen, they had to be sent out of the orphanage to make lives of their own. And they did. Yes, the orphanage provided them education and it was paying off because they all got accepted to a university and are living in the university's dorm.

Carrie always liked animals, unfortunately they weren't allowed to bring animals in the orphanage. That's the reason why she majored in Veterinary, the doctor for cute little animals. Mark majored in Veterinary too, but Kim chose Education. She liked children in the orphanage anyway, Carrie thought.

Carrie was always with Mark, and Mark was always with Carrie. Kim doesn't have enough time for them anymore, but they still meet up at Starbucks every Saturday, where they spend their whole day laughing and goofing around which makes it fine. Carrie understood Kim the way Kim understood Carrie and Mark.

Carrie imagined that one day her life will be better. Even though she was out of the orphanage, she still calls herself an orphan, since she has no parents to check up on her and ask her if she was okay. She knew that Mark and Kim were there for her, as they were having the same situation as Carrie.

Carrie just wished that more people like Mark and Kim would come in her life and never leave her alone, because two is enough, but she wished she had more friends.
