Review:
I can definitely say that this story is my very favorite JTK fanfic. I'm gonna admit that at the first chapters, it's kind of common or boring. And GuardianDemon (the author) admits it herself. She said it's only her second time writing a story, with every chapters she posts, you can see how the vocabulary grows and gets better, making the story greater. It does not rush into the story and the author can portray the characters' feelings properly. I also love how optimistic Marika (the OC) is.
It has a lot of twists and turns and the plot was well thought of. The first chapters are about Jeff's childhood, making it less horrific. BUT once you've reach a certain (no spoilers) chapter, you'll definitely have a hard time looking away from the story. It grows more interesting and fascinating with every chapter and you can see how the plot grows more and more- How should I say it... Creepy, amazing, interesting, etc.
