Day Before Summer
Gigi's P.O.V
I was not only woken up by the sounds of "KO" on the downstairs TV but also woken up by, "Barbie life in a Dream house" seeping through the walls in the room next door to me.
This is the point in which I would casually go downstairs to make my youngest brother Chris which is 8 turn down street fighter and my youngest sister Gina which is 5 turn down Barbie. The fact that this is the very last day of freshman year I decided not to do any of both, but to get dressed and leave before they could stack me on babysitting duty. I grabbed my clothes and ran for the restroom, it might seem unusual to wake up and run directly to the restroom but you see its this person named Davis who is 17 and a pain who just loves to hog the restroom. Also known as my oldest brother once I make it there I reach to open the door and I'm pushed to the floor.
"Well you can always try tomorrow sis, you snooze and you certainly do lose" He said while starting to walk into the restroom. While I literally do lose the restroom 364 days in the year, I was highly determined not to lose it today. So while everyone slept I set up a trap for ice cubes to fall directly on his head after he gets into the shower, I waited as long as to the point when he started and finished brushing his teeth and urinating. I attached the string all the way to outside the door and adjusted my phone on record, so after I hear the shower run and the sound of the mat squeaking. I pulled the string and he let out the most girlish scream I have ever heard and then started screaming " COLD, COLD,COLD".
I kept the camera rolling until he ran out the restroom I recorded him looking around and trying to keep his composure cool and calm. When he spotted me he screamed out " GIGI I AM GOING TO KILL YOU" after that line I knew it was game time I ran into the restroom and slammed the door. I started up the shower as quickly as possible and took my time after I got out I adjusted my " Rebels with a cause" t-shirt and my grey skinny jeans I took the time to unroll my hair from my rollers and apply a little mascara and clear lip-gloss. I walked out of the restroom and into my room congratulating myself in this accomplishment just to see my brother fully dressed and laying in my bed. " What are YOU doing in my room?" I asked immediately getting nervous over what the answer would be seeing that I left my laptop open to a chat with a guy I really liked.
I groaned to myself realizing how much of an idiot I am and then he answered " Who's Liam?" he asked me, I shook my head no back and forth " I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about" I told him trying to keep my story together. " I'm pretty sure you know exactly who and what I am talking about start talking or I will go tell mama" he told me after obviously not buying my story. " Well I um he's just a friend" I answered trying to add emphasis on the word friend. " Well if you wont answer me" he says, " You wouldn't dare" I tell him and then he starts screaming "MAMA" and I instantly start running down the stairs to beat him to her we both end up landing in front of her. "Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on" She states as she looks back and forth from me and him.
"Well it all started when he tried to beat me to the restroom for the hundredth time so when I finally beat him he decided to invade my privacy and go snooping on my laptop and he's trying to get me in trouble" we both pause and then me and him both say in sequence "Its just so annoying". She stares at us for a few more minutes in disbelief and then " Chris and Gina" She yells and all at once the noise in the house falls quiet and Chris and Gina appear right on the side of her. " I want for you and your brother to drop them off at school" She states then adds " And don't you two dare mutter anything but a " Yes Ma'am" we both say in sync. I head up the stairs slowly, so much for me not being a babysitter today I mutter to myself. Once upstairs I throw on my Adidas and grab my backpack off the floor and then I think to myself hey at least its the last day of school and then finally summer.
