Chapter 3

After unpacking i saw my roommate, she was still on her bed listening to music on her phone, i saw her pause it when she saw me and she looked at the time. She took off her headphones and looked at me "Its 12:30, do you want to go get lunch with me?" she asked, I nodded.

"Its settled then, lets go to the cafeteria." She said.

We walked down to the cafeteria and got something to eat. There wasn't very many options, so we just got a slice of pizza and 2% milk each. We sat down at a table far from the older students in the school, she said something about them being called "Enchanters" I just shrugged it off and continued eating.

"So, i didn't catch your name." She said,

"Me neither." I said,

"Well, I'm Robin, You?" she said,

"I'm Nivea..." I replied,

"That's a beautiful name, for a beautiful girl..." She said,

"Thanks, you name is nice too." I replied,

"Thanks." She said before we both started eating again.

After eating almost everyone was gone back to there dorms, Robin and i were still sitting in the cafeteria. Robin asked me if i wanted to go back to the dorm and 'ya know, chill.' i said that i did and then we started walking back to the dorm together. There where students who would point at us and mostly me, i didn't know why, they weren't giggling or anything. They were just pointing and staring like i was something like a mermaid, out of the ordinary.

We got back to our dorm, i was thinking about what we were going to do. I asked her and she just shrugged and told me that we should just draw or something. She seemed kind of down since before, when we were down in the cafeteria.

"Whats wrong?" i asked,

"N-nothing." she answered,

"You don't look like its nothing." I replied,

"Ugh.. Did you see those glares and points?" She asked,

"Yeah, why?" I asked,

"Its because of me." She said

"h-how? It can't be your fault. You did nothing." I replied,

"You cant be seen with me if you don't want those stares and those points." she said,

"Why? I want to." I asked,

"You cant, i-its not safe. You'll be called names, Nivea... just don't." she said,

"How will i be called names? Your a good person and i want to be your friend." I replied,

"Y-you'll find out soon..." she said,

"Ugh... Why wont you tell me?" I asked,

"Because..." I saw tears spilling out of her pierced blue eyes which were turning darker by her being more...sad.

She lay her head down in her palms, she obviously didn't want me to see her. I didn't listen to her commands, i lifted her face up from her palms, it felt good in the moment to do what i did... I lifted her face and kissed her....
