Growing up, I used to dream a lot. Seeing myself having everything I ever wanted in life. Wanted to do any and everything to be at the top of my potential. Only having my mother to look after me and being the oldest outta two boys. I tried to make things due with just about everything growing up. My Dad had passed away from Cancer when I was 2, don't remember much about him obviously and my mother never really talked about him either. Sensitive topic for her as they had BIG dreams they both wanted to experience. My brother on the other hand, Kamal, he's in jail right now serving some time for violating his parole last year. This time when he gets out he can start fresh and get back on the bandwagon with us on this paper chase. I feel I do good with life though. Far as the legit side of things I suppose. I have the hustle of a man looking for his next meal but the smarts and desires of an entrepreneur on the go. Got my wife Armani behind my back and our two sons Kaiden, 7, and Kingston, 5, while living a life every man wishes they could have.
Working in the streets of Las Vegas, things can get a little crazy. It ain't the same as it was 20 some odd years ago. Tonight just happened to be a night that was planned to go amazing. The crew and I were celebrating about a new connect we encountered on. Expanding the business meant more money to be made, which is always a plus in the books.

"Baby, have you seen my necklace you bought me?" Armani, my wife, asked me as she got dressed for tonight's celebration on our come up with our distribution.
"Nah baby, I haven't seen it since your birthday." I said as I buttoned up my blue dress shirt.
"They're probably in my clutch from that night." She sighed. "Give me a few more minutes and I should be ready." She said as she disappeared into her walk-in closet.
My phone vibrating on the dresser caused me to stop what I was doing as Amaru, my bestfriend from childhood days called.
"Yo." I picked up.
"I'm at the gate bro, but yo punk ass security ain't letting a nigga in." Amaru said.
"He's new. I'll send Sweet out to get you." I said before hanging up. "Baby, Maru's here." I said as my son Kaiden made his way into the room.
"Wassup boy?" I said as I fastened my gold Rolex watch onto my wrist.
"I talked to mom about you being able to come to my game next week..." He started. "You coming Dad?"
"My schedule should be open. If not, I'll make sure to find a way to get it open." I said.
"Are you and Mom gonna be out all night?" He asked as I put on my jacket, looking at how my suit looked or if it was wrinkle free of any damage.
"Not sure kid." I said looking at him.
"Can I stay up and wait for you?" He asked, optimism all over his face. Before I could answer, Armani came walking back into the room.
"You look lovely." I said looking her up and down.
"Thanks baby." She said as she walked over and fixed my tie.
"Always." I said.
"Now what's this about you staying up?" She questioned, looking at Kaiden.
"Mom please?" He pleaded.
"Did you do your chores today?" She questioned.
"Armani." I interrupted before Kaiden can reply. "Let him stay up." I said. "It's the weekend." I put out there.
"Don't be on that game all night." She said.
"I won't. I promise." He said as he cheesed.
"Go get your brother and wash up for dinner." I said as he followed my command. "We have to go." I said as I grabbed my keys and phone.
