1 WEEK LATER SINCE EVIL KARA
"Barry, you there?" Cisco asks
"Hmm, oh yea. Sorry, just kind of stuck in thoughts." Barry responds
"Which are?" Cisco asks
"Will Central City ever forgive Kara?" Barry says
"BARRY WATCH OUT!" Caitlin screams
Barry narrowly dodges a car
"Thanks Cait." Barry says running faster
"Speaking of Kara, where has she been?" Cisco asks
"She said she was going to stay on her Earth for a while. Possibly her whole life, who knows." Barry answers
Barry runs into the art museum
"Where is he?" Barry asks
"Should be there." Cisco responds typing on the computer
Barry looks around until shots are fired
"Found him." Barry says
"HEY! How about you back away from these innocent people?" Barry yells
"How bout I just shoot you instead." The thief says shooting him
Barry catches every bullet and knocks him out
"That was easy." Barry says
"I'm going back to my house now." Barry continues
Barry speeds back to his apartment
"I hope Kara is okay." Barry says
EARTH 38
"You okay?" Alex asks walking into Kara's apartment
"Hmm? Yeah. Just, thinking." Kara responds
"About?" Alex asks
"Everything really. Earth 1, people, you, myself, Barry, myself and Barry." Kara bluntly states
"Anything happen?" Alex says sitting down
"No. Just his return, is kind of taking its toll on me." Kara responds
"In what way? I mean, you have the love of your life back. You now have a day job with your best friend, and you're back to being Supergirl." Alex says
"I'm afraid of losing him again." Kara whispers
"What?" Alex asks
"Nothing. Just go, please." Kara says
Alex nods and leaves and Kara turns on the TV to distract herself
AT THE DEO
"Where's the dimensional transporter thing?" Alex asks Winn
"Down the hallway on the left, 5 doors over. On the counter." Winn says not taking his eyes off his computer
"Thank you." Alex says walking away
Alex activates the transporter and goes to Earth1
EARTH 1
Barry's phone rings and he answers it
"Barry Allen, fas-, who is this?" Barry asks
"A portal is opening, get to STAR Labs." Cisco says
Barry speeds into Star Labs and gets to the cortex
"Any idea who it is yet?" Barry asks
"Nope." Caitlin responds
The portal opens and outsteps Alex
"Alex, what are you doing here?" Barry asks
"Kara needs help. She's sad and you need to tell her everything's going to be okay." Alex says fast
"What happened?" Barry asks
"Just talk to her." Alex says
"Okay." Barry says walking towards the portal
Barry and Alex step into the portal and end up on Earth 38
"So apartment I'm assuming?" Barry asks
"Yep, now hurry, don't be late like you usually are." Alex says patting his shoulder
Barry speeds off and knocks on Kara's door apartment
"Alex leave me alone." Kara yells
"Wow, super hearing and x-ray vision, yet you assume I'm Alex." Barry says laughing
The door opens and Kara has a fake happy face
"Hey Barry. What are you doing here?" Kara asks
"Alex told me to come talk to you. Is everything alright?" Barry asks
"Yea, totally fine. Now go back to your Earth and save Central City or whatever-" Kara gets cut off by Barry vibrating his way in
"Ice cream and sad movies?" Barry asks
"What, a girl can't enjoy food and movies?" Kara says
Kara starts to tear up and Barry pulls her and himself down on to the couch
"What's wrong?" Barry asks
"Nothing, I've fine I promise." Kara says
"Kara, crinkle." Barry points out
"Fine. Yes something is wrong." Kara yells
Barry is in shock until Kara continues
"Barry, I-I don't want you to be around me. I could've easily killed you, I had the chance. I remember going to STAR Labs ready to blast you. When you died, my entire world crumbled apart, and knowing I could've killed you- that I could kill you any second. It just scares me." Kara says with tears in her eyes
"My world fell apart, so did everyone else's, I'm afraid that if I go rogue, I'll kill you and ruin my own life and your friends' lives." Kara continues
Kara is now crying and Barry just pulls her into a kiss
"Sorry, I was not myself. Sorry you have to see me like this." Kara says wiping tears away from her face
"Don't be, you confessing your emotions, and fears, it's fine. Everyone has fears." Barry responds
Kara lies her head on Barry's lap and quickly falls asleep
8 HOURS LATER
"Good morning my beautiful Kryptonian." Barry says
"Barry, what- what are you doing?" Kara asks
"Making you food. As you can see, still not the best cook." Barry responds
"Barry I think we should break up." Kara says
"W-what? Why? Is it about last night? Kara I-" Barry gets cut off
"Yes it's about last night, but everything else also, just go Barry please."
Kara pushes Barry out the door and Barry tries to talk some sense into her but fails and eventually leaves for Earth 1
