" Hey Lee! Over here! " Juliet's voice shouted over the crowd.

Lee pushed through the crowd towards Juliet, who was now standing at the foyer outside the lobby. Her black bag bulged behind her back, her black eyes looking at Lee impatiently.

" Alright, alright, coming! " Lee shouted.

After she went out the crowd, her feet felt like a lot of people stamped on them. She could feel the pain in her legs.

" Where are we eating? " Lee asked.

" Here! Next to the garden. Plus you get to get out of your jacket for a while to soak the sun. " Juliet gestured towards the benches surrounding the pillars. They look unoccupied, thus there's no distraction. That place was next to the admission office, with pebbled steps flowing down from it.

" Wow, thanks, " Lee said, astonished that Juliet knew what she wanted.

" No problem. So what happened in Geo class? Great intro with Ethan? " Juliet asked.

" He's annoying. " Lee said. She trudged towards the place, with Juliet next to her.

" You know, those who said that the boy is annoying or irritating, it means that the girl would fall in love with the boy, " Juliet snickered.

Lee punched her lightly on the shoulder. Juliet laughed, her laugh echoing through the garden.

" No. I don't think that's true. " Lee pouted.

" At least you are okay. I had to sit with Luke. " Juliet moaned.

" He's fine. " Lee said, trying to brighten up Juliet feelings.

" Blah, blah, he's fine, says the one who had a crush on him once last year, " Juliet drawled.

" Juliet, I'm going to kill you, " Lee grabbed Juliet. Juliet wrenched her hand out of her grip, laughing at the joke. They ran towards the place in a matter of time.

" That's why I like your company, " Lee panted and smiled at her friend.

" Oh, by the way, you know that new geek guy? He's coming here. " Juliet said.

" Seriously?!? " Lee complained. She had enough of boys interrupting her privacy. Especially Ethan. She don't want to see him anymore.

" Oh look over there! Here they come. Oh wait... ahahaha, " Juliet shouted then laughed after a short while.

" What's so funny? " Lee said.

" Awww... Lee... you didn't say that your new friend is coming, " Juliet said, batting her eyelashes.

Lee looked at the distance. She could make out the geek guy and the annoying guy.

Lee stood up and bolted, bag and all.

Juliet exclaimed after her, as Lee ran towards the place where she saw her friend.

" Ally! " Lee ran into her. Ally caught her in the hands, looking at her with curiosity.

" What is it? " Ally asked.

" Can I eat with you? " Lee asked, the words blurting out of her mouth.

" Sure... " Ally said, unsure of what happened to her dear friend, " have a seat. "

Lee sat down on the seat Ally gestured too. Ally sat next to her, holding a Tupperware with fresh vegetables.

" Strange, you ran without Juliet. " Ally said.

Lee looked at Juliet, who was now sitting next to two boys. They were chattering happily together.

At least I can get out Ethan's grasp, Lee thought.

" I heard such a commotion happened at your geography class. I had a nightmarish time at physics. " Ally said.

" At least you don't get to sit next to a boy, " Lee said.

" No, I had to squeeze myself in one lab table. " Ally said.

" Ugh, I hate squeezing. Squashed between who? "

" Wendy and Arianna. "

" At least you are in the friend zone, " Lee said, imagining how Ally would be squashed between them. She came up with a horrible picture in her mind, she laughed quietly to herself as she pushed that thought into the rubbish bin.

Ally laughed. " No, but it was fun to annoy them. "

Lee and Ally sat there, exchanging conversations and laughing. Memories were beginning to come back to Lee, as she embraced them with a joyful sigh.

" I'm going to go to library to meet Yunizu, you want to come? " Ally offered.

" Sur--- "

" No, she's coming here NOW. " Ethan said.

Oh no, Lee thought.

Ally's gaze dropped on him. She flashed  a look of sadness.

" Alright, enjoy! I'm going to go first, give you a bit of privacy for you two, " Ally forced a smile and winked at Lee. She walked briskly out of the benches and into the lobby. Lee watched her ponytail flying as she walked, a flag waving under a head.

" Hey, Juliet asking for you, you should go, " Ethan said, breaking her thoughts.

Lee stood up angrily, " How could you say that to her! She is my best friend! And you, " she gestured angrily, pointing at the lobby where she last saw Ally, " you just rejected her offer to me! "

" Isn't Juliet your best friend? " Ethan asked.

He has a point, a small part of her said.

" Juliet is my best friend, you're correct. But that girl there, she's my best friend too. The closest person in the world that is similar to me, " Lee argued.

Ethan looked hurt.

" Just come, ok? I hate to argue with you here, " Ethan said before turning away from her.

" Look, Ethan, you just can't burst into our conversations. You don't even know her. Now, will you tell Juliet that I had to meet my friend in the library? " Lee said.

Ethan walked away before she could finish.

" Ethan! " Lee shouted.

He didn't turn. She watched him walk into the lobby, his head down. Lee regretted scolding him. But what could she do? He was interrupting her privacy, he had cross the line. She could try following him, then saying sorry.

No. He can't be apologized. No. He crossed your line of friend zone, the bad part of Lee said.

But he seems to know what you had in mind, said the good part of Lee.

The bad Lee kept quiet. She had a point.

Lee took her bag and walked to the library, pushing the thoughts of Ethan out of her mind.
