Chapter 2

Kelsey's POV,,

"Mum when are you going to come in with me?" i asked as i stood outside my grans house and spoke to my mum as she sat in our car with the window rolled down and she sighed.

"I don't know kelsey, soon okay" she said and i sighed nodding as she kissed my head "Have fun and i will pick you up tomorrow"

"Okay, bye love you" i said and she smiled as she started the car again.

"Love you too" she said as she waved and drove away, i let a sigh escape my lips as i picked up my duffle bag and put it over my shoulder and started walking up the path to my grans front door.

I knocked 3 times then lent on the wall as i waited, the door opened and auntie Phoebe and daisy stood there smiling.

"Mum! Kelsey's here" auntie Phoebe shouted while giving me a hug, she was taller than me and had to bend down even though she was only 18.

"Kelsey!" i heard auntie Lottie shout as she ran down the stairs and attacked me in a hug making me laugh as i kicked the front door shut with my foot.

"Hi guys" i said as i pulled back from the hug, i heard more foot steps and seen gran smiling at me.

"Oh my little Kelsey has gotten so big!" she said running over and wrapping me in a hug as i laughed.

"I seen you two weeks ago" i said as she laughed pulling away and fixing her apron.

"Well i have missed you" she smiled and i smiled back as she hugged me again making my aunties laugh from behind me.

"Lottie take Kelsey to her room and show her the present i got her!" gran said and i raised my eyes brows.

"Why did you get me a present?" I asked as auntie Lottie took my duffle bag and wrist pulling me up stairs as gran and the rest of them followed.

"Because i did, is a granny not aloud to do that?" she raised a eye brow making her wrinkles from age appear more and i smiled.

"I never said that-"

"Stop talking Kelsey!" they all said as i got to my room and i laughed, Auntie Lottie opened my room i stay in whenever i stay and i seen a box sitting on my chest of draws. They pushed me towards it and i laughed as i took the wrapping paper off it and moaned when i seen it was a set of hair curlers and hair crimp's.

"I don't like doing my hair" i said and they all rolled their eyes.

"Thats why we got you these silly, curl your hair and let us see what you look like" Auntie daisy said and i sighed and agreed as they all smiled and walked out, i looked at the box again and sighed. I wont look too bad will i? i mean, i have had my hair curled before and i did it myself so i wont burn my hair off like that girl did. I laughed really hard at that.

I took them out the box and plugged the curlers into the wall as i pulled a chair over and sat down in front of the mirror. I started to section my hair off so it would be easier, i have seen mum do this when ever she went out on a date so i am just copying to be honest.

"Here goes nothing" i mumbled as i picked up the hot curlers and started to curl the first section of my hair.

"Im not coming out, i look stupid" i said crossing my arms as i stared at my self in the full length mirror.

"Please Kelsey! you wont look stupid, i bet your beautiful!" Auntie Phoebe said and i sighed as i walked towards the door and unlocked it opening it and i seen everyone standing gasping and smiling.
