Levi was walking down the street towards the old shoe shop, it was a sunny calm day and his mother Lilia had asked him to get a pair of clarks for his father, so as requested being an obedient boy he had walked from groventon lane all the way to hitchvest alley which was practically 1 mile away from his house.
The shoe shop was an old smokers place or a poker club Levi wasn't really sure but it had been turned to a majestic blue and it lit up the dark alley way it was one of Levi's favourite shops but he wasn't here for him, he was here for his father who fought in The French Revolution, his father was a smart man, very young, he had short blonde hair and pale skin he mainly wore a bay shirt with braces attached to his belt and black trousers and shiny navy blue loafers.
Levi was now gazing upon many different types of shoes and didn't know which one to get for his father,
"What you doing here at this time of day son?" Asked the man at the counter, it wasn't the usual man who was kind hearted and lovely, he was grumpy and had a scowl in his voice
"Mother sent me sir, to buy my fathers loafers!" Levi replied in a shaky tone the chap picked out a box of shoes and passed it over the counter
"£10 shillings" he said Levi reached into his pocket and pulled out a £10 note and handed it to the man.
