I just stood there for a few seconds and tried to think of an excuse.
"Um I was with a friend."
"Who?"
I just made up a name. I would of been in big trouble if she found out what really happened.
"Dakota. She's from school."
"Oh."
I head up to my room and just sit on my bed.
I didn't really know what to do. I was used to being with Taylor.
I got up too look at my book shelf.
I grabbed the book Divergent. That's what I was reading at the time.
I fell back on to my bed and opened Divergent.
I was actually bored without Taylor.
And I've already skipped school a few more times. My mom didn't even find out about that.
My phone rang. It was Taylor.
"Hello?"
"Hi. I wanna take a walk with me?"
"Sure. What time?"
It was already getting dark so I didn't want it to be too late.
"Maybe 9:00"
I had to think of a way to get out of the house without my mom knowing.
I walk out to the living room and say
"Mom I'm going to go shopping with my friends."
"Okay. Are they picking you up?"
"Yes."
I run back into my room. I'm so glad she has not found out yet. I would of been In big trouble.
