"Out of my way, Bexley!" She yells and pushes past me.

"Austin James Anderson, you are so dead." I mumble to myself.

"Austin? May I speak to you? Alone." I ask Austin and he nods. We walk outside and then to the edge of the fence.

"You know I hate her!" I whisper-yell to Austin.

"But we have chem-" I cut him off.

"Don't tell me that you guys have chemistry. You don't! She's only dating you in hopes that it will make a guy she really likes jealous!" I yell giving up on trying to be quiet.

"What guy are you talking about?" He asks.

"Oh, I don't know, maybe the guy she kissed when his girlfriend walked away. You know MY BOYFRIEND!" I yell.

"She did it to make me jealous and it worked!" He yells back.

"Who are you going to believe, me, your sister that has had your back since she was 5 or the girl that you just met a few weeks ago!" I yell.

"ALICE! I'm going to believe her! You are just mad that she kissed Jax and you don't want me dating her." He says.

"That. Is. NOT. It!" I yell.

"Then what is it?" He yells.

"I don't want you getting hurt! You're my brother and I love you! I don't want her to break your heart!" I yell.

"She won't!" He yells and walks away.
I run inside and straight to my room. I go into my bathroom and get into the shower.

I stand in the shower for an extra 15 minutes thinking about my conversation with Austin. I can't believe he would believe her over me. I've always had his back since I could throw a punch.

I get out of the shower, put a towel around my hair and a robe on my body before going back into my bedroom. I go to my dresser and grab a black off the shoulder sweatshirt that says Sweater Weather Is Better Weather on it and grey leggings. I slip them on and then put on black Uggs before going back to the bathroom.

I brush through my hair and then put it into a high ponytail

I brush through my hair and then put it into a high ponytail. I grab my wallet off my dresser before going downstairs and into the dinning room.

"Mom, I'm going to the mall. I'll be back around 8." I tell Mom who is sitting at the table with, Dad, all my brothers, Alice and for some reason Jax and Blake.

"Okay, sweetie. Do you need a ride." She asks.

"No thanks." I say and go to the front door. Right as I'm about to open the door a hand wraps around my waist.

"Hey, Beautiful." Jax says.

"Hey." I say.

"I'm coming with you and you are going to explain why Alice is in your dinning room." He says.

"Fine, come on." I say and we walk out the door. After we get into his car I tell him everything. Starting with Alice being at the door to mine and Austins conversation.

"And can't believe they kicked us out!" Jax says as we walk out of Forever 21.

"You were dancing with the mannequins! What did you expect?" I say as he grabs my hand.

"Bex?"

"Yeah?"

"You're beautiful." He says and puts his head on my shoulder.

"Thanks." I say and kiss him. "Are you OK?"

"Yeah." He says as he pulls me to the food court.

"What do want?" He asks.

"I don't know. You pick." I say.

"Pizza Hut it is then!" He screams putting his arm in the air and pointing. That earned us a few stares.

"Stop screaming." I tell him.

"Why?" He asks looking down at me.

"Because it gets people's attention and I don't like attention." I tell him.

"You're adorable." He says kissing my temple.

"You're irritating." I mumble crossing my arms over my chest.

"Your word wound me." He says faking hurt and putting his hand over his heart.

"Good." I say. We walk over to Pizza Hut and order breadsticks and two large pepperoni pizzas. We walk to a table and start eating.

"Princess?"

"Yeah?"

"Why do you like me?" He asks out of the blue.

"I don't know." I say.

"Bex, please tell me." He begs.

"Why are you asking?" I ask him.

"Because, when you came to the school everybody told you that I was a player that didn't have feeling, right?" He says.

"Yeah." I say

"Well, why didn't you believe them? Why did you agree to go out with me?" He asks.

"Well, I agreed to go out with you so you would stop bugging me but as you know that didn't work. They only think you don't have feeling because they haven't gotten to know you. I did believe them. At first. But after going out with you, I realized how sweet you could be. I realized you have feelings." I say and he gets up from his seat and walks up to me, wraps his arms around my waist and hoists me up from my seat.

"Thank you." He whispers in my ear as I wrap my arms around his neck,

"For what?" I ask.

"For giving me a chance." He says.

"You're welcome." I say laughing.
