The Thundershower

24 2 2

Clouds fill the skies
Thunder roars
The wind blows
Then it rains
A thundershower has arrived
To give water to our plants
The wind chimes ring
The leaves rustle
The birds chirp
My hair is soaked
My clothes are too
I run into my house
Lay down on my bed
And listen
The sound is so calming
I close my eyes
And take a nap
And drift off into dreamland
