Chapter 6 Truth

  Classes went by quickly ,and I still hadn't heard from Xander maybe he has been busy with classes "thank goodness this class is over if the next thing that will be coming out of the room is my coffin" she says as we both laugh walking out of the class.

Apparently this was my last class for today it really was a long day "so...." Hailey was about to say something but got interrupted by my phone ringing I pulled it out of my bag checking the caller ID and luckily for me it was Xander

"Hey how has your day been" he asked from the phone

"Better than you can think anyways I'm done with all my classes" I say

"Okay that what I was about to tell you I'm in front of the school waiting for you but before that are you with anybody" he asks

"Yeah why" I asked curiously wanting to know why he asked "no reason gonna go see ya" he says as the line went dead really this boy really is confusing.

"Um Hailey I'll see you tomorrow Xander is waiting for me at the parking lot " I say as we both hugged each other

"See ya I'll call me or any of the guys if you need anything " she says walking away as I nod my head.

I made my way to the parking lot looking for where Xander parked his car luckily for me I spotted it and walked towards the car opening it and sitting down

I sighed relaxing on the comfortable sit and turned to face him he had his earplugs on like he was making a call or something ,I smacked him in his arm before he turned to me in confusion

"What was that for " he asked removing the ear plugs "that was for living me alone in school and by the way I haven't seen you since this morning not even on campus were have you been" I asked

"I only had two classes today and its was second to last and last period and by the way I saw you with your new group of friends" he said driving out of the school

"What's the name of the girl you were with after your last classes" he asked he's acting so different ever since he called me

"Xander are you okay"they've obviously got to be a problem with him I know that for sure " I'm fine why did you ask"

"Cause you have not been acting like you ever since you called me but if there is something wrong I'm not going to force you to say when you ready to tell me I'm always free" I say as he nods his head

"So are we going back home or what"

"Yea I have a lot of projects to do before 8pm"

The remaining of the drive home was fun like we were cracking jokes and he was telling me about his friends and their jokes

We got home with the house empty my mom and Dave should probably be at work and Alex is obviously at school I went straight to my room cause I wasn't really hungry and if I was I have s snack fridge in my room.

Xander also went to his room for his project ,I entered my closet put on my denim short and tank top since I wasn't going any were soon I walked back to my bed lying down on my stomach

I decided to watch a movie on my lap top since I didn't have any project or assignments.

After a while I hear my door nob click open turned to see it was Xander he walked over to my bed lying down beside me in the same position I was I removed my headphones and closed the laptop and turned to face him

He looked really pale I knew something was up with him he wasn't acting like the troublesome Xander I know

"So are you ready to tell me " he nods he's head "okay I'm listening"

He sighed before he started talking "um I and Hailey dated in middle school and high school part of it " I shook my head in confusion "yeah we went to the same school I really liked her like I have never liked any girl before I even stopped hooking up with girls cause I wanted her to think of me and trust me but no it didn't turn out well " still confused of what jes talking about

I could see the pain he was feeling in his heart "After I asked her for prom she accepted but she went she went ahead to make out with another guy and that same night I got a message saying she never really liked me she was only using me for my money ,I even got her thing that a boy can't even afford to get their girlfriends but   even after everything it seems like she doesn't care at all but do you know the funny part I still really like her now she is gone I feel like a part of me is no were to be found I see her everywhere I go I think of her even when I don't want to apart from my dad its even cause of her I'm going to college it turns out all she ever wanted was my money and fame you know what I don't even think I like her I think I'm in love with her " I widen my eye in shock

Even through I have only known Hailey for only a day she can't do that type of thing I'm pretty sure it was a misunderstanding

"Maybe it was just a misunderstanding or she was framed did you even under stand her own side of the story" I asked

"What's there to explain I saw it with my own eyes scar"he says

I wasn't just going to sit here and watch is heart break everyday I'm going to fix their relationship I don't care how long it takes.

Now that explains her why her face turned pale when she saw it was him on my caller ID and also when Amelia introduced me to them she talked really fast and that she was just trying to cover her pain up

And she was also trying to avoid any topic about the most popular boys in school which was very weird but now I understand every thing perfectly well

She probably still has feelings for him and she's also hurt but she is not showing it and Amelia should know to cause she also noticed it .
